I hadn't had a facial in years, but Zia has me addicted now! She is very friendly, informative, and gentle. I would highly recommend going to her if you want to refresh your skin. The whole staff at Western Dermatoloy makes you feel comfortable and welcome.

If you have a very basic concern, you’ll likely walk out with a solution (aka a cream) after your 5 minute appointment. If you have anything remotely outside of a typical skin concern, you’ll also walk out with a very expensive cream, that probably doesn’t help, after your 6 minute appointment. I’ve really tried to give Western Dermatology benefit of the doubt having gone for different reasons over 5+ years, but being told "yeah I don’t know I got not nothin’ for ya" at a follow up appointment is really disheartening. Just always felt like I was a burden to the nurses and doctors. Really wish it was a better experience considering how nice the facilities are.

I went to this office 2 years ago for treatment of acne and they immediately put me on accutane. After about a month, my skin started to look like this picture. This is significantly worse than what I was experiencing. When I went in for the doctor to check my progress, she very rudely expressed how surprised she was with how my awful my skin had become. The doctor said I was experiencing what she called a "true flare", which to this day I am still unsure what this means and can find no information on this on the internet (even ai couldn’t help me find any information on this phenomenon?). She tried to get me to stay on accutane, saying that she has only seen this twice before and that she has been able to fix it both times. I obviously wasn’t going to do that and I have since switched to Dermatology of New Mexico who have been amazing. Anyway, I am writing this all these years later because I still have severe permanent scarring on my forehead from this incident that has been detrimental to my self-image. This was totally preventable if I had better care. Please don’t go here, there are much better options in New Mexico for dermatology or go out of state because every human deserves good quality care and this place will not provide that.

I highly recommend Christy at Western Dermatology for any permanent makeup application and facial services. Christy is very professional and takes the time to listen to the client to understand their expectations. The result are wonderful !

I’ve been seeing Tiara for over a year now at Western Derm and she’s wonderful- she’s (appropriately) conservative with treatments and wonderful to talk to. The office staff is friendly (the desk person at my most recent visit was very nice) and very accommodating. I’m happy to recommend Tiara and the staff at Western Derm.

Always a great experience at this Spa. Tiara Fisher is such a fun, professional!! She gives me great advice and procedures are done in just the right amount of time and effective! You’ll be glad you worked with Tiara.

Dr. Einhorn, her medical assistants and desk staff are truly amazing! They went above and beyond during my young daughters excision appointment, making it a pleasant experience for her. They are top notch! Thank you, all!
