The Gleamery West Hollywood: Teeth Cleaning, Whitening, & Aligners

The Gleamery is a game changer. Every time I step foot onsite I receive top to bottom white glove service & the best treatments. I spontaneously booked a round of whitening for my friends wedding while I was in town in November. I loved my experience so much that I flew back to LA, from across the country, to start my aligners journey with them. I also rebooked the whitening and airflow treatments prior to starting my trays and WOW the results were incredible. Dr. Rebecca & Dr. Isabella both are fantastic and walked me thru each step of the process beforehand. My hygienist Katelynn was so thorough, kind and made sure I was comfortable during each treatment. She really reduced my dentist office anxiety and bonus: my teeth never felt so clean post airflow. The second round of whitening left my teeth sparkling!!! Their knowledge and access to best & world class technology is unmatched. If you're looking for top tier service that makes the dental experience worthwhile, this is the place. I will be back! Falling in love with my teeth again (& again).

Rebecca and Brittany are the best. I have anxiety and trauma from past dental visits and they made me feel very comfortable. Including the person who took my X-rays and the receptionists. They all walked me through each step with so much kindness. The compression boots were amazing for my anxiety and really comfortable. The airflow cleaning was great and I’m a bit sore still after 6 hours but I’m sure I’ll feel better after 24hrs like they said. There’s no intense pain or anything. Thank you so much for making my visit the first positive dental experience of my life.

I never enjoyed going to get my teeth cleaned, until now. The airflow cleaning was nothing like I thought it would be - in the best way! My hygienist, she was lovely, taught me how I could brush better by using some sort of plaque detecting solution on my teeth that showed where all the plaque builds up. It was clear I was missing an important part based on the color it turned in 1 area. This plaque score/coloring feels like they gamified teeth cleaning and I’m here for it! Can’t wait to go back to see what it looks like in 4 months! Amazing technology, educational staff, and the facility smelt GREAT! Highly recommend.

The Gleamery in West Hollywood has pioneered a new approach to teeth cleaning and whitening that makes it easy for you to book an appointment online, choose your treatment and get your teeth cleaned or whitening without the hustle of X-rays and upsells at your traditional dentist. I went online and booked my teeth cleaning appointment then once I arrived on-site, I was welcomed by Nanum and Jessica who were fantastic and kind. Nanum checked me in and took me into the treatment room. The facilities are clean and you can brush your teeth prior to treatment. I did my paperwork online and that took 6 minutes total. Soft music is played all through the facilities and headphones are provided case you need them. They also provide other relaxing items such as an eye max and leg compression boots to keep you fully relaxed. My hygienist Racheal was very professional, empathetic and very knowledgeable. The cleaning was very thorough and painless. Rachael explained problem areas and provided me with tools I could use to have a better mouth hygiene. I was wrapped within an hour and provided with a superbill to send to my insurance. Overall, best cleaning and experience!!

I’ve been going to The Gleamery in WeHo for two years now after, admittedly, a long absence from regular dental visits. The entire experience here has been excellent every time…easy to schedule/change the appointments and super friendly and accommodating staff that are knowledgable without being pushy. The office has a cool, laid-back vibe but still very professional and the cleanings, whitenings, and exams that I have received have all been great. Best part is that I’ve never once had to wait past my appointment time, which is almost unheard of these days!

The concept for the Gleamery is a great one, but the experience was bumpy. Went in for a Night Guard and the scan went poorly - I received no consult, no exam, no discussion at all about what was best for my teeth. The specialist who scanned me was very unfamiliar with the technology, and had a lot of trouble getting a scan of my mouth approved, doing it over and over much to my mouth discomfort until finally asking someone more experienced for help. Once the scan was complete (over an hour), the front desk associate asked if a top or bottom guard had been recommended by my specialist. They hadn’t recommended anything, so I had no idea. I reported this negative experience, and management was receptive. Then I went in to pick up my guard, by appointment, and was left alone to try it on. It didn’t seem to fit, and they said I needed to wait for a dentist to arrive to reshape or rescan. No idea why they booked my appt for a time no one was there to supervise my fitting. But I made an appt for another day and left. I called back later and asked if they knew if my specialist had ordered a top or bottom guard. They checked my file and said they had ordered two tops, which is why the bottom didn’t fit. Why this wasn’t checked while I was in there, I have no idea. Basically, it’s a completely unsupervised process and you’ll definitely be given a product that they receive in the mail and it might be a good one but you won’t receive any actual dental care or advice.

I’m so impressed with The Gleamery and thrilled they’re finally in our Santa Monica neighborhood. I was able to book a same-day appointment for a cleaning and whitening, and when I saw they were offering a promotion on their overnight aligners, I decided to do a complimentary consultation while I was there. I’m honestly considering the aligners now. I had no idea my crowded teeth were contributing to early decay in certain areas. I met with J and Dr. Isabella, and the experience was nothing like a typical dentist visit. I felt completely comfortable, genuinely relaxed, and truly educated about my dental and overall oral health. I’ll absolutely be back and can’t recommend them enough.
