Great experience at this dental office. Zahra the hygienist did an excellent job she was very thorough, and professional. The doctor checked my implants in details and was also friendly and welcoming. The whole visit felt smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This review has been a long time coming... I've been a patient here for about 5 years, largely due to convenience. The first odd experience I had was that in my first 3-4 visits, I never once saw or interacted with a dentist. When I brought this up, they basically responded with "why would you need a dentist for a routine checkup/cleaning?" I responded that I would prefer to see a dentist when I visit, at least sometimes, and they indicated that the (or a) dentist did not get there that early in the morning (my apps usually at 8am). Over my 10-12 visits, I probably saw or interacted with a dentist 2, maybe 3, times. There were also numerous inconveniences. First, often when I showed up for my early appointments the garage door would be shut and I'd have to make numerous calls to the front desk to unlock the garage door. Moreover, once you park in the parking garage, you need a passcode to get into the building/elevator, which they do not tell you pre-visit. So, I'd end up having to walk out of the parking garage and around the building. When I raised this to them, they gave me the wrong code. Once I finally got the right code, I wrote it down and left it in my car for future visits. On one visit, the hygienist told me I had a cavity that they would recommend I fill. I found this odd because I've never had adult cavities, and ask that we revisit it on my next bi-annual visit. After multiple future visits, including x-rays, they never once raised this again, seemingly forgetting or not noticing the alleged cavity. This made me skeptical that there was a cavity -- let alone one that needed a filling -- in the first place. They suggested that I do Invisalign, and after multiple discussions, would only offer it for only $6,500 without any type of financing. They also indicated they would not work with insurance on it. I ended up getting Invisalign elsewhere for ~$4,800 (without insurance), with interest free financing. The quote felt unusually high. Finally, the icing on the cake was my visit this morning for a routine cleaning. When I showed up for my 8am visit, they informed me that they no longer take my insurance. I asked why they didn't tell me this in advance of my appointment. They indicated that because I had "confirmed" my appointment via text message, this must've caused confusion. They stated that they tried to call me once, but I had no records of such, and I wish they would have put more effort into letting me know. I recognize that much of these complaints are minor, but this place always left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) and I would not recommend. However, the hygienist that did my routine cleanings was wonderful, hence the two stars!

Dr. Peretz and his team are amazing. The service was professional and the staff made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend this office! ❤️

I had a good experience at Georgetown Smile yesterday! The front desk staff were very friendly and professional and took a lot of time with me as a new patient! I also liked Jose the hygienist too! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was less impressed by Dr. Peretz himself. His welcome to the practice was perfunctory and he didn’t really engage with me when I asked him about the recommendations of my previous dentist, which I had brought to share with him. He didn’t take the time to go over it in any detail, which I was honestly expecting. Getting crowns is a big expense and I would have liked a little more discussion. He quickly said that he could do it for much less money than my previous dentist, but he didn’t specify the pricing, which I would have appreciated. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience but not thrilled. However, since the practice is in network for my insurance, that’s very important.

I had a cap on a tooth fell out and went to Georgetown Smile to have it stuck back in - a five minute job. I paid $90 thinking that was what I owed. I then get a bill totaling $639. I consider this excessive even in the USA.

Very caring staff and great service! I googled several dental providers on my provider list because I've had very bad experiences with dentists and I picked Georgetown Smile based on some positive reviews. I have to say I was not disappointed and the staff exceeded my expectations. I haven't seen the doctor yet, but the 2 dental hygienests I saw were very professional and experienced and caring. I liked how they explained my dental plan to me and the costs. I was also running late for my appointment and they were able to accommodate me with no problems. I highly recommend Georgetown Smile!

This place is highly professional and very compassionate and understanding. They wiped away many years of shame and embarrassment in one visit. If you have been hesitating to go to the dentist, this place is the one for you.
