The dentists are great. Dr. Hanieh recommended what mattered, explained why, and what could wait. Amalya was also very helpful and friendly, she did a great job and wanted to. Gabriel did the root canal and I did not feel a thing. Everyone there was much better and more caring than the previous place I went for the same stuff.

Dr. Hannah and Amalya were very professional and helped me with every step in my treatment. They made me feel comfortable and helped ease my mind being an anxious patient. I am grateful for the hard work they do to make their patients experience wonderful and the care excellent. Keep being great.

I cannot say enough good things about Sadie, the surgical assistant. I’ve never been taken care of in a dental office the way she took care of me today. From the moment I sat down, she was incredibly supportive, attentive, and reassuring – constantly checking on how I was feeling, explaining what was happening, and making sure I was as comfortable as possible during a pretty gnarly procedure. Her calm, caring presence honestly made all the difference. I felt like I was in the best possible hands the entire time, and that kind of care is rare. Dr. Paul also did an excellent job with the surgery itself, and I’m very grateful for his skill – but having Sadie there by my side turned it from just "a tough procedure I had to get through" into a genuinely positive experience. If you’re nervous about dental work or oral surgery, I can’t recommend this team enough, especially Sadie. She’s a rockstar. 🙏

I’m extremely disappointed with the way this office handles billing. I was quoted around $300 for a deep cleaning—the exact same procedure and diagnosis my husband received just a few hours earlier. He was quoted $720 but they tried to charge him $1,200. We have the same insurance, yet our prices were completely different for identical treatment. This feels dishonest and manipulative. I do not trust this practice and will not be returning.

RUN FROM THEM!!! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU RANDOMLY AND UNETHICALLY I am writing this review to document a highly concerning and potentially unethical billing practice I recently experienced at Sparks Marina Dentistry. At my appointment, the office initially quoted me $720 for a deep cleaning. However, when the procedure was completed, I was suddenly charged $1,200 instead. Only after I questioned the amount did they reduce the charge back to $720, the original quote. A few hours later, my wife—who has the exact same insurance plan and received the exact same diagnosis and recommended treatment—was quoted approximately $300 for the very same procedure. I requested my treatment documentation four to five times, and the office only provided it when I physically went in and insisted. When I compared my paperwork with my wife's, the procedure codes, treatment descriptions, and insurance details were identical, yet the cost quoted to me was more than double hers. This pattern raises significant concerns regarding inconsistent billing, lack of transparency, potential overcharging, and whether the pricing presented to me was in accordance with fair insurance practices. These discrepancies may warrant further review by insurance auditors or regulatory oversight bodies. Patients deserve consistent, honest, and transparent billing—especially when diagnosis, treatment, and insurance coverage are the same. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice and strongly advise others to obtain itemized estimates in writing and verify all charges directly with their insurance provider.

I've been going to this dentist office for a little over a year and I have nothing but praise for this place and the people who work here! Dr. Hanieh and Amalya are fantastic, kind, and they put so much care into the work they do. You're never left wondering what they're doing to your teeth; they explain everything in understandable terms and they make sure you're okay with what's happening before, and while they're doing any procedures. Coming from someone who had a fear of dentists in the past and dreaded making that first appointment, I would 100% recommend Sparks Marina Dentistry, Dr. Hanieh, and Amalya to anyone looking for a new dentist to go to!
