I had heard about Apple family dentistry a couple years ago and after dealing with other establishments I gave them a call and it’s been wonderful they focus on taking care of you in a timely manner due to the circumstances like if your in pain and maybe running an infection. The staff is kind and professional and Doctor Sophia Dang is awesome at her profession she is not heavy handed and almost seems gentle when she was giving me a crown.Im grateful to have found them thanks to a family friend.

I have never liked going to the dentist due to bad experiences. For once in my life, I had the best dental appt ever! 3 shots in my gums for 3 tooth extractions. Not much pain like I've experienced in the past. Same with the extractions. Very quick & easy, not much pressure at all. I recommend Dr. Dang with her wonderful staff 110%! My daughter has also lost a tooth at about 6 years old. She's been to the dentist since. Today was the 1st time we found out her "missing" tooth is impacted & we can fix it. Great Doctor, great staff. And all future treatment plans & cost were fully explained.

I've really debated about posting this. The family-run location has nice staff, the place is clean but I'm afraid that I was encouraged to do unnecessary work. Before starting at Apple Family my prior dentist retired. He always said my teeth looked great. He'd taken X-Rays on my last visit, just 6 months prior. No mention of anything. On my first visit Dr. Dang told me I needed multiple crowns, and got me scheduled to start on them (during Covid). I really wish I'd gone for another opinion. My mouth felt great at the time. It was at the beginning of Covid and going to multiple dentists wasn't an easy task. My gut had told me I should but they were so nice and I trusted them. In hindsight, I wish I'd gotten another opinion, especially after my final experience. On my last visit in they knew I'd be changing dentists. They pushed for yet another crown, telling me I should get it done ASAP because our insurance wasn't going to be renewing their agreement. I didn't this time. I asked my new dentist about getting a crown and said he would definitely not put a crown on that tooth. It saddens me to think I might have allowed multiple good teeth to be ground to stumps and capped. My teeth had never bothered me before the procedure but now food is constantly getting stuck between and they're very hard to floss. Those teeth/gums have bothered me more since they worked on them. My advice is to get a second opinion on any major work recommended. I realize that it is a "Medical Opinion" and not everyone treats things the same. I've always heard your teeth need to last your lifetime so take care of them. I always have, and feel I failed to do my part with getting another opinion. I wish I could rewind time and reconsider allowing the work to be done.
