My visit to Sandy Modern Dentistry was a great experience from my initial contact and exam with Dr. Butterfield to my oral surgery experience with Dr. Bikhazi. Every aspect was pleasant and painless. With my "white coat syndrome" they took every measure to make sure I felt comfortable. Sandy Modern Dentistry has the most up to date equipment and services which made the experience so much better than my past dental work done at other offices. I was truly impressed and am looking forward to my future dental plans we have made to ensure my oral health is great.

Dr. Butterfield is the best dentist I’ve ever had, hands down. She is caring, thorough, and diligent. All my dental work including my gold molar crown has been top notch with zero problems. Root canal I had here was also excellent. Folks complaining about costs obviously do not understand the industry and how very little is in the office’s control. All the staff are extremely courteous and kind. Thank you for everything!!

This place is a straight up scam wrapped in a lab coat. The $50 cleaning is a complete lie it’s per quadrant, which is the dumbest, most intentionally misleading nonsense I’ve ever heard. Who on this planet wants 25% of their mouth cleaned? Are we supposed to come back four separate times and assemble a full cleaning like IKEA furniture? They know exactly what they’re doing. They bait you with a fake price, waste your time, then hit you with upsells and pressure tactics like a shady used car lot except with dental tools. The whole experience feels gross, predatory, and dishonest. If you enjoy being talked down to, overcharged, and treated like a walking wallet, this is your spot. There are plenty of dentists who don’t rely on deception to stay in business this just isn’t one of them. Thumbs down

I went to Sandy Modern Dentistry on Veterans Day because it was my only day off work during the week and I am a veteran myself. Before I did anything the receptionist confirmed that my insurance covered my cleaning 100% I would just have to pay a $50 copay for the 3D scan they were going to do to my teeth. After they took my X-Rays and the dentist came in they strongly tried to convince me to get their "deep cleaning" which was not going to be covered by my insurance and was going to cost $260, this was after they told me none of my teeth were bad and I had no cavities, they just wanted to "intervene" before my gums had an opportunity to get bad, I told them I just wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance and they refused saying once they recommend a deep cleaning then they can no longer complete the basic one covered by insurance. When I said I’m not paying they all left the room and said "okay your appointment is complete then" I still had to pay for the 3D scan but did not get the even a basic cleaning I thought was going to be covered when I first arrived

I went in because I scheduled a cleaning. The service was cold and then they said they couldn't do a cleaning until I had a deep gums cleaning. Refused to do the thing I came in to do until I did this expensive 2-300 $ gum cleaning. Even sent in some guy to give me a rate like it was a car dealership. Terrible experience. Don't go here. So many better dentists in this area.

Best Dental place I've ever been to. It is hard to get me completely numb but Dr. Butterfield was patient and determined. I was able to get my treatment done without the trauma, I'll forever recommend Sandy Modern Dentistry!

I had a wonderful experience at Sandy Modern Dentistry! The staff is welcoming, the office is clean and modern, and the dentist is thorough and gentle. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!
