For half of my adult life not having enough money or good enough dental insurance (I’m sure many of you can relate), I’ve been unable to receive the dental care I’ve needed to maintain a healthy mouth. Year after year my anxiety around returning to the dentist grew. Finally after getting shuffled from two dentists and an oral surgeon all claiming I should go back to the other one for a procedure nobody wanted to do, I finally landed in Dr.Escobar’s office who gave me the full picture, options and honest truth. He has a big and kind personality, easy to smile with and also direct and professional. His staff, dental techs and admin alike, are also incredibly supportive, sweet and have soothing ways about them. Even someone with intense anxiety and sometimes panic around dental work like myself can rest-assured in any chair here. So grateful to have found this space. Special shout-out to the gal who just finished my first full deep-cleaning with such care, and the receptionist who always deals with my erratic schedule and needs with unending grace.

I had a root canal filling fail months ago and waited too long to get in to see a dentist to get it addressed, and the pain was so unbearable I couldn't sleep and Tylenol, ibuprofen, and alcohol were barely providing enough relief. I called Escobar Family Dentistry to see if I could make an emergency appointment with the complications that I live almost two hours away and am unemployed. Out of the three dentists I called, Escobar FD showed the most compassion and urgency to help me as soon as they could. I made an appointment a week out but they got me in two days after I called. They did the exam as noninvasive as possible and didn't aggravate the pain I was already in, and agreed to extract the tooth that day saving me from having to make the trip again another day, and go through that many days of unbearable pain. This was the first of many steps that the nurse, assistant, and dentist took that they handled perfectly. After agreeing to the procedure they put me on nitrous for a few minutes before administering topical Novocaine. They took the topical Novocaine off at the perfect time, administering the injected Novocaine, and I did not experience any numbing beyond the tooth area. I've had this step bungled in the past that ended up numbing my entire face and throat before, but never had a dentist perfectly nail the timing before. The dentist, Dr Escobar, was concise in his communication and explained his strategy first before starting the work and then reassured me as the strategy needed to shift that everything was going to be okay. The extraction was difficult, it was a molar (#2), and the decay was bad but the roots were solidly attached to the bone. I think he ended up using like 20 different tools and the extraction took longer than we all had anticipated. Despite this, the doctor kept his cool and kept the cool of the room as a result and we got through it without any issues. I left the office feeling just fine, no pain at all, and no excessive numbing that made it difficult to complete an errand before heading home. Now, the next day, I feel no pain at all which is quite surprising given my history with other teeth extraction, especially ones where so much work was required to get them out, would leave me with a lot of bone pain. Dr Escobar gave me some Tylenol and ibuprofen out the door and didn't prescribe any pain medications and it turns out that I didn't need them at all. I took the ibuprofen and Tylenol and replaced my gauss every 20 minutes and things are healing up nicely. I am thoroughly impressed and this level of care and skill gives me a lot of confidence in meeting follow-up appointments at Escobar Family Dentistry. I've had a long and painful history with dentists and that often leads me to miss critical appointments and never do checkups but I look forward to returning to Dr Escobar and his team because they are very good at it and display a lot of compassion for their patients. I have been going to Dr. Escobar for over 5 years now, and have never had an unpleasant experience. Quite the contrary, actually. Dr. Escobar himself always greets me with a smile, and makes me feel welcome. He has always had my best interest with my dental care, and even helped me get on the right path when it came to have my wisdom teeth removed. His staff is also very warm and inviting, and they always remember who I am. I would say that his office has this small town charm to it, which I love since I'm originally from Georgia. I would HIGHLY recommend Escobar Family Dentistry to anyone!

Everyone at this office is friendly and cheerful. Staff working at the front desk have always been very helpful with billing and insurance issues. The hygienists provide thorough cleanings and take every effort to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Escobar is a great dentist, super quality work and very skilled at managing pain. I highly recommend them.

I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to and being at the dentist office. Escobar Family Denstistry has always been very understanding and made it easier for me. They are nice, professional and very friendly! They are always gentle when cleaning or doing X-rays! I recommend them to anyone I can! The entire office is clean and well kept.

From front office all the way back, this is the first dentist's office I've enjoyed in my life. The office is clean and the exam areas are comfortable. I've had scaling of my bottom teeth and some drastic extractions in advance of a full top denture, which I received today. Dr. Escobar and his staff have quieted my fears, answered all my questions, and done an outstanding job with the denture I very much needed. I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning. I couldn't recommend this dentist office more highly.
