I drive over an hour to see Dr. Sekon. I started with sleep dentistry when I was very ill and needed to be sedated for dental work. I literally had an 8 hour appt with them due to all the dental work I needed, much of which was caused by my illness. Dr. Sekon made sure to put me on prescription toothpaste, - which I didn't even know existed. That was in 2018 and I still go back every 4 months, - even though I'm much healthier now and could go to a dentist located much closer to my home. Dr. Sekon, their dental hygienists and the entire office staff are truly wonderful and take great care of their patients.

A couple years ago my dental care took a terrible turn due to bad treatment. After this my anxiety and fright became overwhelming not to mention the pain involved. With heavy inquiries this office was at the top of my list to try to fix my dental issues. They were very welcoming, respectful and supportive going over a plan to resolve my needed care. I did use their sedation system to help me get through some of the issues and that went ok. After time now I believe that they did a good job making sure that insurance also covered everything needed. I did have a lot of out of pocket expenses but that is very common. Please know this is a safe place for you and your family, as we will continue our care here to keep our smiles healthy and bright! Tami S.

Do not go here if you are a self paying patient. I recommend you ask about the fees they charge before scheduling an appointment. The initial exam is very comprehensive and only $50.(at the time of this review) However, their other fees are inflated. There is an $800.00 fee for minimal sedation. Minimal sedation consists of the office prescribing 2 pills meant for a moderate level of relaxation. (There are other levels of sedation however, I do not know the pricing. I do know nitrous is $85.00 per hour) As a retired senior person, the sedation fees are not an option for me. The dentist that did the examination was wonderful and I would have liked to have gone back however, I would have had to come out of retirement, and sought out employment in order to pay the fees.Talk about fees before you schedule an appointment. I went to the initial exam including X-rays a Dr exam and a hygienist exam, all for just $50.00. Very well worth it! Now I’m faced with having my record transferred to my regular dentist and having the work done without sedation because it’s above my Social Security pay grade. Get informed before you go unless you are wealthy or have insurance that will actually pay the exaggerated fees for minimal sedation or a higher level of sedation at whatever fees are charged for that!

Awesome experience! Amazing with kids. People were so great. 4 yo had an issue with his tooth. Dentist was 2 months out for next appointment. These people got us in next day. Absolutely best bedside manner and super affordable. We just needed a basic evaluation to confirm everything was ok. Cash pay was $50 for the basic emergency exam/checkup which included X-rays.

I have been looking for a dentists office I felt comfortable in and like I could trust for 30 years and I finally feel like this is a place I can go to for cleanings, caps, fillings, or whatever, where I can feel safe and comfortable during an uncomfortable process. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new team to make sure their dental experience leaves them feeling well taken care of!

I have had two emergency toothaches that resulted in getting wisdom teeth removed. This team not only got me in same day but within and hour of calling. They walked me through each process and were very understanding when it came to pain. I will be going back to them for my dentist needs.

I lost a filling while traveling from Seattle to Portland for Thanksgiving, and Sleepy Dentistry saved the day! Not only did they get me in as soon as possible, but their staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them if you’re in the Portland area.
