Mountainside Family Dentistry

Mountainside Family Dentistry is the best dental office I’ve been to in Portland (and honestly in my life). Dr. El Youssef is knowledgeable, talented, and has absolutely the best personality. His team is also top notch, I wish I knew everyone’s names! Anna, Minh, and A are amazing - I have literally fallen asleep during cleanings because they are so gentle. My teeth are always clean when they’re done and I feel great. The front desk staff are also so helpful and kind. Everyone at this practice makes me feel welcome and valued, and I get wonderful advice for caring for my teeth. Thank you so much for everything!

I have been a dental patient with Dr. El-Youssef for, now, over 5 years, and he and his staff have always been friendly, courteous, skilled, and dedicated to making sure that whatever I needed as a patient would be seen through with expertise and kind care. I've never been dissatisfied as a patient, and can only recommend them for dental work, especially given how affordable they keep this. It is especially great to see how expertly, carefully and enthusiastically Dr. Anthony has adopted newer techniques for things like crown fabrication and imaging, because it means that you see what's wrong as a patient immediately, see exactly why it needs to be addressed a certain way, and see it addressed both faster and with often even better ideal quality one would hope to see from the dental work people expected when I was younger. Beyond this, the staff are great, and have helped us with every billing and records inquiry we have had diligently and well. I have been very grateful for this office since we arrived here, and continue to be.

What hidden gem this place is! The staff is so friendly and helpful and it’s not even the best part. I needed a crown replaced and a new one added, (it can be tricky to make your front teeth look good) dr. Anthony did such a beautiful job, a true artist, even the temporary crown looked good. I couldn’t be happier. Most of the crowns are done in the office, which makes it so convenient, I only wish I found this place sooner.

The office was clean and organized, and the appointment ran on time. The doctors are thorough, gentle, and took the time to answer my questions, which made the visit way less stressful. The mailer I received gave a lot of information, led me to the website and helped answer questions. When I called to make an appointment, I also received the link to the online patient form so everything was done ahead of my appointment. The hygienist was excellent and very thorough, the dentist did a great exam and answered any questions, and the office manager gave the needed follow-up information as well as a text. Love my new dentist group!

The hygienists are thorough, gentle, and take the time to explain everything, which I really appreciate. Great place for routine dental work. All the people working there are amazing and always listens to my concerns. They will try their hardest to work with you and insurance to make expensive dental work affordable. Ive been going to Mountainside family dentistry for almost 14 years before that I only had negative experiences with other dentists but at Mountainside I've never had a bad experience and neither has my daughter.
