I had an 11 AM appointment this morning and was incredibly disappointed by the way I was treated at this office. As a stay at home mom, I arranged and paid for childcare specifically so I could make this appointment. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had been cancelled, despite receiving a confirmation call the day before. At no point did the voicemail say that failing to call back would result in cancellation. I want to be clear that the front desk staff member who initially assisted me, Arlovia, was very sweet, professional, and apologetic. This review is in no way a reflection of her, as she handled the situation with kindness. The issue was entirely with the office manager, Sable. When I calmly expressed that I was upset because I had arranged and paid for childcare and was not notified that my appointment had been cancelled, I repeated this twice, not angrily, simply because it was relevant. Her response was, "You said that already and I heard you," delivered in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive tone. I was speaking quietly and calmly, my voice trembling only because I was on the verge of tears, and yet she acted as though I was making a scene, when I was simply advocating for myself. When I asked for her name, she replied sarcastically, "Sable, don’t worry, I’ll get you my card," which only reinforced the lack of professionalism. What should have been a routine visit turned into an upsetting and discouraging experience due to a complete lack of communication and a manager who showed zero empathy or basic respect for a patient’s time or circumstances.

While the entire team at St Lucie Dental is wonderful and accommodating, I absolutely had to write this review to specifically praise Yani. She is truly one of a kind! Yani stands out for her professionalism, incredible kindness, and her genuine willingness to help. She consistently goes out of her way to make sure our visits are smooth and comfortable, and she always has a wonderful, welcoming attitude. She has been such a great resource and help to both my husband, Keith, and me. Whether it's scheduling, handling paperwork, or just answering our questions with patience, we always know we are in great hands when we talk to Yani. Thank you, Yani, for being so accommodating and making St Lucie Dental a place we actually look forward to visiting!

I thought everything was going well at this office but now I’m not so sure. I’ve never been to an office where I get a cleaning and the doctor doesn’t come in and at least look at my teeth during the visit. Sometimes they came other times they did not. I once had X-rays done and they did not lay the cover on me to protect me while they used the X-ray machine…. That really was strange to me. The dentist I initially saw left the practice. The worst part is if something is bugging you in ur mouth getting them to pick up the phone is near impossible. Call backs take several days. I’ve been having gum/tooth pain ever since a filling came out and they said they couldn’t get me in until mid January!! How do you not prioritize ur patients who are in pain who just paid you for a filling not even 2 weeks ago. I’m going to be looking for care elsewhere.

Went there for a cleaning and no Dr. was in the office to have my night guard adjusted. I had called in advance to let them know that it needed adjustment and I was not told that there was no Dr. available. This is a Dentist office and for a dentist not to be in the office is just not professional. The dental hygienist was not helpful at all and the cleaning she did for me was painful. I was not offered numbing medication and had to request it. Would not recommend them.

Awesome experience. Competent and professional staff. I was a first timer with them for a root canal that that went super smooth with little discomfort.

I recently changed dentist after 5 years. I tried Lucie Dental and it was a refreshing experience. With my past dentist it was about how much money they could squeeze out of me. Lucie Dental was concerned about me, my personal hygiene and health. Services was less than my previous Dentist yet the experience was superior. Dr. Azari was attentive to my concerns and has earned my business and new respect for Dentist. Thank you.

terrible!!! This is now the 2nd time someone in the family needs a procedure and the very last minute they come up with a lie to cancel it. This time it's "Hey sorry UPS has not showed up yet with the IV medication" This appt was booked a month ago and earlier someone called me to ask me if I can move my child's appt. Very Very unprofessional to lie to someone. Come up with something better than that!!!
