Kyle Bowen is the best dentist I’ve ever dealt with. He helped me on Christmas Day with a broken tooth, and I know he has a family of his own. He is very fair, professional, and will work with whatever situation you’re facing. His staff are very friendly and the environment is top notch!!

We love canyon dental and are so happy our new insurance covers it again. Such nice dentists and hygienists!! You will feel like your dentist actually cares about you and makes it a good experience. Best dentist in Utah! Hands down.

Doctor Bowman is the best! I’ve been going to Canyon Dental for over 10 years now. Back in college, I had a few cavities and went to another dentist who didn’t feel honest—they were recommending way more work than I felt I needed. I switched to Canyon Dental, and the experience was completely different. Dr. Bowman recommended a few fillings, but nowhere near what the first office suggested. The quality of his work has been excellent, and it’s also reassuring knowing you’re not getting unnecessary procedures. He’s warned me several times about small cavities and suggested that I brush extra well in those areas. Most of the time, that was enough and I didn’t end up needing a filling—sometimes I did, but only when it was truly necessary. As my family has grown, we’ve all continued going to him. My kids even like going to the dentist! These guys are awesome.

Canyon Dental is by far the best dental office I’ve ever been to! Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the dental assistants, hygienists and dentists. They make me feel welcome and taken care of every time I go. They use really nice updated technology and prioritize good sanitation practices. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Bowen, June, Brielle, and all the amazing staff at Canyon Dental have literally changed how I see myself. I was insecure about my smile and in so much pain due to neglecting my dental hygiene for years. I have a beautiful, painless smile now. They have taken such good care of me. They met me at the lowest part of my life, and have been with me through so much positive change. I have been going to Canyon Dental for over 3 years now, and have always felt respected, cared for, heard, and supported. I have had implants placed, root canals and crowns, cleanings, and fillings done there. Dr. Bowen has made sure everything is perfect, with the patience of a saint. They have been so accomodating and have gotten me in very quickly. If ever one could look forward to going to the dentist, it would be to this dentist.

Really 3.5 stars. This was my family’s first visit to Canyon Dental, and our experience was mixed. For context, we lost my wife’s insurance, so we had to change dentists. We were there primarily to have all of the imaging done and be checked for cavities. Then there was a cancelation, and I was able to have my teeth cleaned. First the good: The staff were all kind enough, they were very thorough, and they seem to use the most current technology. The 3d renderings and consultations were great. In particular, the person who did my cleaning was excellent. I have a lot of recession, so cleanings are almost always painful, but she was extremely gentle, so it was one of the least painful cleaning experiences I’ve had in years. For that reason alone, we went ahead and booked cleanings for the rest of the family. On the negative side, the office seems to have poor time/resource management. Each of us had to sit for 15-30 minutes while we waited for the next step in our process. My wife was the last to finish and thinks she was forgotten because she had to wait more than 30 minutes before the dentist saw her after the imaging was complete. The result was that the appointment took over two hours for my wife and kids, and they didn’t even have their teeth cleaned. I was the earliest appointment and was able to have my teeth cleaned, so I was there for nearly three hours. This seems consistent with some of the reviews I have read on yelp. I’ve been through several dentists over the years, and I have never had to wait so long between steps in my visits/cleanings. Unfortunately, my insurance stinks, so we are likely stuck with this office, but it may prove more than we can handle if we continue having to wait for so long.
