Downtown Dental: Richard Rathke, DDS

Extremely kind staff - very accommodating of my anxiety around going to the dentist after a long time since I had been to a dentist. Helpful and kind about where to get my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Rathke is very friendly and always remembers me. When I had to change insurance carriers they helped move my appointment to make sure I could get my cleaning in before I changed insurance. I would recommend this dental office to everybody!

Downtown Dental is the best dental facility in New Orleans. First of all, the staff is unbelievably nice, friendly, and helpful. They are beyond genuine and actually care about the needs of their clients. Not only are the staff highly qualified, thorough, and patient, but they make our visits quite pleasant and memorable. They treat their clients like family and are eager to address all of our concerns. I feel truly blessed to have stumbled on this gem in the heart of the city. I’ve been there several times already for cleanings, fillings, and root canals. The staff are always so kind, empathetic, gentle, and caring that I’m actually excited to go to the dentist! I trust the staff at Downtown Dental completely and whole heartedly. They are extremely knowledgeable, skillful, detail-oriented, efficient, trustworthy, and credible. The staff is also good-natured, approachable, and compassionate. They are so personable, sincere, and thoughtful which makes the clients feel comfortable during any procedure because they keep our minds at ease. So if you are looking for a new dentist look no further….Downtown Dental is your best choice! They not only have expertise, but they honestly genuinely care!

Oh my! Dr. Rathke is the absolute best!!! I have/had severe 'dentist' issues but desperately needed work done. He and his staff were awesome. They truly were concerned about my fears and were so respectful!!! They even went above and beyond this week. Their office is comfortable, accommodating and very convenient especially if you work, live in and around the CBD.

My experience at Downtown Dental exceeded my expectations. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, pleasant and professional. Natalie (front office) was exceptionally warm and friendly. Anne (dental hygienist) provided excellent care X-raying & cleaning my teeth. She’s truly great at her job. The service I received from everyone was exceptional. I also appreciate the open, welcoming atmosphere. I will continue to use Downtown Dental for my oral health.

It would be difficult to overstate the quality of service and the pleasantry of the customer experience at Dr. Rathke's office: When you first enter you are blown away by the beauty of the office itself--the open floor plan and the physical beauty of the office. All the staff are friendly and courteous and appear to enjoy their jobs. There are plenty of smiles and a welcoming environment. Dr. Rathke works diligently and meticulously to do a great job on your procedure whatever it may be. I cannot recommend it any more highly!!! If you live in the Quarter as I do it's a 5 minute or so drive and there's free parking!!
