From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. Bre at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and got me signed in right away. Layana came out to take my X-rays, and she was laid-back, super friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. Then I met Annmarie, the dental hygienist, who was incredibly gentle but also very thorough. After that, I had my visit with Dr. Tran. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. I did end up needing some work done, and they were able to take care of it right then and there. Bre came back in to explain what needed to be done and walked me through the process, including setting up a payment plan. She was so helpful and made everything stress-free. My appointment ended up taking longer than expected, but Dr. Tran stayed after to make sure everything was done perfectly and that I was fully taken care of. That meant so much to me. Overall, I felt truly welcomed, cared for, and valued. Honestly, this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’m so thankful I found this office and am genuinely excited to continue coming here.

Dr. Tran and his assistant April are wonderful! They took the utmost care of my son throughout the entire root canal procedure. We have been patients at Menifee smiles for the 13 year. Office and staff is the best!!

Went in for an emergency tooth extraction today and it went wayyyyyy better than what I expected. Dr. Tran is AMAZING!!!! He made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that everything would be just fine. He let me know everything he was doing. He let me ask questions and voice out my concerns. I felt very safe. His assistant Micaela was super sweet and helpful too. She did a fantastic job finishing up my procedure. The entire staff from checking in to checking out were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back to see Dr. Tran and his wonderful staff for dental services. Thank you for the phenomenal service!!!

Dr. Tran is an excellent dentist and I’m so glad I found this office. The entire team is friendly, professional, and efficient, and they always make sure I feel comfortable and informed at every visit. Dr. Tran takes time to explain treatment options in simple terms, answers all my questions, and works with a very gentle touch, which really helped ease my anxiety about dental work. The office is clean, modern, and well‑organized, and my appointments have always run on time. I’m very happy with the quality of the care I’ve received and will definitely continue coming here—I highly recommend Dr. Tran to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Zero star. Upon my arrival at the office for a scheduled dental cleaning, I was immediately requested to provide a co-payment of $15 during the check-in process. I inquired about this charge with the front desk, as I have not previously been required to pay a co-payment for a dental cleaning. The initial explanation provided was for an X-ray. I informed the representative that X-rays are typically covered by my insurance. Subsequently, I learned that Dr. Mendoza requires an annual pre-screening for periodontal disease for all her patients. I felt this procedure was obligatory and that I was compelled to proceed. Following the X-ray, Dr. Mendoza personally conducted my periodontal screening, which involved an examination of my gums and an assessment of my oral cavity. During this assessment, she suggested a referral to an endodontist for a root canal, citing discomfort I had reported in my lower left partial. When I inquired about the cost, she indicated that it is variable and could exceed $1000. I communicated my financial constraints regarding the proposed treatment and indicated that I required additional time for consideration. Subsequently, the individual emphasized the necessity and mandatory nature of the treatment. I interpreted this as an attempt to coerce my agreement to the treatment, implying that refusal would preclude me from receiving a dental cleaning. I reluctantly conceded, and another staff member presented a quotation of $332 for the treatment. I expressed surprise at the cost and reiterated my request for time to deliberate, while consistently requesting the dental cleaning. Initially, they maintained their inability to proceed. However, upon my assertion of the right to refuse service, they offered a teeth polishing as an alternative. Upon my acceptance, I was informed that I would need to return at 3:30 PM due to the unavailability of a hygienist. This experience left me feeling distressed and frustrated, as it resulted in a significant expenditure of my time. I subsequently lodged a complaint with the manager but did not receive a follow-up. My primary objective remains to receive a dental cleaning, which I have not yet received. My initial experience was unsatisfactory. I perceived a strong implication that I was being coerced into accepting a recommended service, with the understanding that non-compliance would result in a refusal of service.

Dr. Tran is such a wonderful dentist! He has a wonderful chair-side manner. I have never experienced such a kind dentist! Also thankfully not only is the dentist a wonderful energy, so is the rest of the staff! Layana the dental assistant was funny and gentle. I felt at ease instantly! She explains every step which helps to allow you to relax—you are in good hands. Vanessa was my coordinator for the whole procedure plan and she is so sweet and understanding. She worked with me to find the best option for my payment plan to work together with my insurance. Im happy I have a fantastic place to go and feel confident that I will be taken care of!

I am so happy to have found Dr Tran and his terrific team, Jessica, hygienist, and Michaela, assistant. Dr Tran and his team have been very caring and helpful with my assorted dental needs including a new crown, a root canal, general cleaning and guidance to improving my overall dental health. Dr Tran always makes sure that I am at ease and comfortable during my appointments.
