Daiso - Japanese Household Goods

Always love to shop in daiso. This japanese household store has a lot of good products for home

I usually go to Daiso in Hollywood but I went to this one a couple of times before. I usually walk isle by isle and end spending about $100 worth of different little things. I also bring my doggies with me. And I'm not the only one since we see doggies there all the time. And my doggies are usually on their nest behavior. They want to smell everything and they are super happy if get them a new toy. We were almost done and were checking the last isle near the cash register. I was in a very good mood since I found the raincoat that I wanted... but I couldn't find a couple of other things so i wanted to make sure that we havent missed anything. So a person who was working there was very rude. He was squatting on the floor putting something on the lower shelves and he reached in his pocket. My doggies thought that maybe he got a treat for them so they came closer to him and sniffed him. After that he followed me to the register and whispered: "I need you to keep your dogs closer to you". What?! They were less than a foot away from me on a short leashes that I actually bought at Daiso! They were on their best behavior for about an hour that were there! I didn't say anything but my mood was ruined. Then he went on helping at the register a person before and then a person after me! Completely ignoring me! So I had to ring all of my stuff with one hand (while holding the leashes, a basket with stuff and my own bag in another). While he was helping literally everyone else who came way after me, except me! I had to call him because there was no one else to cancel an item. Actually I kinda wanted that hat but I was so angry that I decided not to get anything extra. I just wanted to get out of there before I blew up. Meanwhile my dogs felt my anger as well. And when a boy came from behind (while I was trying to deal with register on my own with one hand) and touched them without even asking they got scared and started barking. I calmed them within a few seconds. But that wouldn't happen at all if I wasn't upset and wasn't dealing register on my own with my left hand. So he finally came to me. I was trying to be as calm as possible... for the doggies sake. "I want to cancel this." I showed him the hat. (The only hat in the list of 5-6 items.) He barely looked at the items: "Which one is it?" He annoyingly flipped the computer screen back to me. I mean is he blind or is he doing it on purpose? Because at that moment I was trying to pack the rest of the items in my bag on my own and had my hands full because he wasn't helping with that. And now I had to stop and point to him because he is too lazy to read 6 lines. (BTW last time I was at that Daiso I bought a lot of things. Amongst the items were square plates. And the employee told me that usually they have a special paper to pack the dishes so they won't break during the transport. But they ran out at that time so he did his best to wrap them in paper napkins and put them in my bag safely. I was so grateful. And yes. That time my doggies were with me too.) But this dude clearly had some kind of an agenda against my dogs and he did everything to show it to me. If you are so unfriendly why working in customer service?? My dogs or me didn't do anything to you. And if you keep discriminate against your customers I hope you get fired!!!

I have been coming to Daiso for a while, and it’s always a great experience! They have a wide variety of items, and I mostly shop for school supplies and household goods. However, every visit, I find something new that makes its way into my purchase—and I never regret it! Over the past few years, the staff has been very welcoming, making each trip even better (thank you staff).

A little smaller than most but seems to still have everything. Got the perfect sized travel chopsticks 🥢

Average. Decent sized compared to the other Daiso locations I've been to, but this one looked very low stocked. There were barely any items on the shelves, but I guess that's good if you don't like it when stores are too cluttered. They also seemed to have all of the usual items that you'd find at the other locations as well as the same prices. Our cashier was really friendly and nice as he checked out our items. Not bad!

Great Daiso location! Love it! I always find exactly what I need and more 😂 hit and miss with some of the products but it's alright I guess. Keep in mind $1.50 adds up quickly 😳😳😳. This location validates parking, but parking attendants can be rude 😒 park at your own risk. This Daiso seems to have most items stocked up. So sad pets were not allowed 💔 FYI pet lovers 😢
