My implants look and feel completely natural, and the recovery was easier than I expected thanks to the excellent care and clear post-procedure instructions. Definitely the best dentist I’ve ever been to! Recently had my wisdom teeth removed here and had a great experience! The dentist Dr. Mechev is so kind, patient, and makes sure you are never in pain. The dental hygienist Giovanna is the same and really cares for your teeth. Lorena at the front is amazing as well and always so helpful. I love this place! I highly recommend them to everyone!

Dr Medvec and staff are wonderful. Very professional and courteous. Dr. Medvec is a very skilled dentist. He has the latest training and technology. He takes great care in developing a plan whether it is simple or in my case a much nore complicated treatment. Have been going to his office for years.

I've been Dr. Mechev's patient since 2017. Dr. Mechev travels the world to learn the most cutting edge dentistry techniques, and has invested in technology & equipment that even the biggest dental groups don't have so he can diagnose, treat, and create crowns, teeth, or arches right in his office. Moreover, he is an empathetic person who truly cares about his patients, and he is extremely honest & trustworthy. I moved to Carlsbad, about an hour from Dr. Mechev. It seemed a long way to drive, so I experimented with two other dentists who had good Yelp reviews , but when I went there, they were total grifters who didn't even clean my teeth, but wanted to do thousands of dollars of dental work. So back to Dr. Mechev! Willing to drive an hour plus to receive the best dental care possible from a next-level dentist who truly has a passion for dentistry and genuinely cares for his patients as people.

I recently got braces, and the entire experience was amazing. The procedure was completely painless, and the staff made me feel comfortable from start to finish. 5 star dentist experience in La Mesa. I am an Australian and visit San Diego every year. I had a dental emergency and needed a dentist. I visited a dentist in La Mesa. Dr Mechev has a beautiful,modern and super clean dental office in La Mesa. After I had a ct scan, 3d xray I was treated successfully for my dental emergency. I also inquired about options for dental implants and bone grafting. I was told in the past that bone grafting is needed in some cases. Dr Mechev explained everything very well about dental implants treatment and showed me his personal portfolio of dental implants cases similar to mine that he has done over the years. I was so impressed that I decided to have my bone grafting and dental implants done in San Diego - La Mesa. I can’t wait to come back next year so I can have my work finished and see my favourite dds 🙂 Thank you Dr Mechev and La Mesa Dental Center.

I can’t say enough good things about Giovanna the hygienist there! THE best teeth cleaning you’ll ever have. I’ve been to lots of hygienists over the years and she’s the only one that helped me with my teeth staining with a simple cleaning! Also super gentle and considerate. Amazing doctor as well, very knowledgeable, fair, and kind. You can’t go wrong with both of them.
