This place is amazing. Everyone is very courteous and professional. From the staff to the student dentists. Will highly recommend to anyone that is looking for affordable and excellent dental care. My student dentist is Jason and I'm very happy with him. He will be a great dentist when he graduates from the program. Thank you guys

I want to express my appreciation for my student DDS — they have been exceptionally courteous, professional, and precise in their clinical work. Their calm and respectful approach, along with their attention to detail, made my dental experience outstanding and reflective of the highest standards of patient care. However, my experience with the Patient Accounts department has been extremely disappointing. Despite multiple follow-ups, my dental insurance company has not received any claim submissions in over six months. This ongoing issue remains unresolved, and the representatives I’ve spoken with have been rude, unhelpful, and seemingly unaware of proper claim submission procedures. It’s unfortunate that such a well-run clinical program is overshadowed by administrative shortcomings. I sincerely hope the billing process is reviewed and corrected so that future patients do not face the same frustration. Elizabeth in Patient Accounts gets an "F." Sources

My boyfriend went here to get his wisdom teeth removed. He made it very clear that he wanted me to be present just in case anything happened. Within 10 mins a rude supervisor informed me that without written consent from a lawyer I can’t be in the procedure area with him. Sounds like they are more concerned with covering their asses than the comfort of their patients.

Had a wisdom tooth pulled at UMKC School of Dentistry, and it couldn’t have gone smoother! From start to finish it took less than 10 minutes—no pain, no pressure, no scary sounds. Skylar and Isabella were INCREDIBLE! Top-notch professionals who made an experience I would otherwise be very anxious about relaxing. They have amazing bedside manner and were very thorough, they walked me through the entire process and were very patient with me! so happy to have had my experience at UMKC School of Dentistry!!

Student doctor Samuel Himstedt is amazing. He cured my TMD and fixed my molars. He also gave me nitrous to help with my dental anxiety. Lovely guy.

Process is slow but those students take their time & make sure they're doing everything well. Plus, dentists (faculty) double check all of the student work.
