The Super Dentists

My daughter fell mouth first and needed to get her in for an emergency dentist appointment. This is the only location with availability so we drove from Chula Vista. While we were trying to get our insurance sorted out with the front desk lady my daughter accidentally bonked her face yet again with their counter top. She started bleeding quite terribly from her gums. Like the kids around us looked at her poor face in pure shock. I told them I needed help. There was blood over my shoulder and shirt, it was all over my daughter face because she was in clear pain and distress and kept shaking her head and crying. I told the front desk lady and she looked at me like saying "what do you want me to do?" And just gave me ONE gauze. Not two, not three, literally ONE piece of gauze which was drenched. I ran to the bathroom and left a bunch of bloody tissue papers in their trash can and probably a few drops around the sink area and floor. I’ve worked in healthcare and I know that stuff needs to be cleaned, sanitized and throw trash out so I told the front desk that there was blood and stuff and again she looked at me like "what do you want me to do?". Never checked on us or anything. My husband kept overhearing all the front desk girls (3-4) just talking and joking away while helping costumers. So unprofessional. The dentist came in and out in a matter of minutes. When i asked questions she kept trying to stand up and leave. Like she’s answer something and her body was halfway out her chair and I asked something and she’d kind of roll her eyes and say back down. My daughter was miserable the whole time. So disappointed. I ended up taking her to another office and she was so comfortable and let them check her teeth no problem. I told super dentist office to cancel our follow up appointment cus we are not coming back!!!

**DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST.** I went here for a routine cleaning because my regular dentist was booked out for months. Big mistake. The "cleaning" was so minimal that when I later saw my actual dentist, they couldn’t even tell a cleaning had been done. Even worse, they told me BOTH of my children supposedly had between 5–7 cavities each—despite nothing showing on X-rays and only a quick visual glance. That immediately felt wrong, so I got a second opinion. I had to take half a day off work to get my kids squeezed in with our normal dentist, who thoroughly examined them and found **ZERO cavities.** None. Not one. What they actually needed was a real, proper cleaning—something this office clearly didn’t provide. This experience felt dishonest and completely unethical. I plan to file a formal complaint with the California Dental Board because I have documentation proving what happened. Be very careful with this place. In my opinion, they are far more interested in pushing expensive treatments than in giving honest dental care. **WATCH OUT.**

Great experience at the Escondido Super Dentist Orthodontist! The customer service was excellent, and the team made sure all our needs were met. Friendly, professional, and very caring. Highly recommend!

Terrible. I have no idea how this pediatric dentistry has such high reviews. Either they are paying to have bad reviews removed or people have no idea what a kid's full dental experience entails. I took my 3.5 y.o. for a cleaning and exam in July 2024 for their $99 promo price. Not only did they do absolutely nothing to clean her teeth other than a quick floss and brush with the dental hygienist telling me, "it doesn't look like I need to use the metal pick today" --- umm excuse me- what? Her former dentist did a full cleaning, no problems. I can brush and floss her teeth at home and don't need to pay $99 for that!! Ridiculous. Then the "dentist" came in. We saw her for 30 seconds and she touched each one of my child's teeth with a metal instrument and said it looked good and left. 5 minutes in and out and that was the extent of our visit. I let the front desk know how disappointed I was with our experience. They never offered to refund us, only said we could come back again. No thanks. I asked to be taken off their texts and emails and removed from their system as they continued spamming me about future appointments weeks after our visit- even after I told them we didn't intend to return. Now- a year and 4 months later they randomly charged my credit card another $99 dollars!! I called to dispute, was told their billing dept would need to call me back. Again, Ridiculous. Scammers! I ended up calling my cc company and reporting them for fraud. This place is awful. Take your kids elsewhere

We have had nothing but great experiences with all the staff! Front office, assistants, and doctors! I love that my daughter is building a positive relationship with the dentist! Thank you for always taking care of her and being so patient!!!

We've been coming here for four years since my lil one was two and she loves every visit. They have helped her be cavity Free and my lil ones is now 6 and absolutely loves the office set up! The service is always nice. Today we saw Destiny and the Dr. Everyone was friendly and efficient. They make them feel at ease and even have TVs for them to watch. They have mini toilets for lil ones and even coffee and tea. And you can't forget the rewards toys at the end and the Slide!!! She loves coming and will be coming for years to come.

I have had a great experience with the Super Dentist as an adult getting orthodontic treatment. The whole team is very helpful and professional, especially Melissa at the Escondido location. She was always so friendly and ensured my comfort and that all questions were answered. Arianna at the front desk was also helpful in getting issues with my retainer resolved.
