The Dental Express Escondido - Dentist in Escondido, CA

It took me a few days to write this review because I'm in shock that such a good experience with a dentist office can turn so poor so quickly. I scheduled my initial consultation on 11/4 with Dr. Jamie. He and his assistant Nereus were so professional and thorough. I scheduled a rather large procedure that would require some recovery for 12/31. I am a business owner and need at least a month to clear my schedule of clients. I received a call from the office to come in for a rescan on 12/10. Nereus informed me that he would have everything in office from the lab by 12/23 for my 12/31 appointment. Fast forward to the Day before my procedure and I called the office to remind them that I have not received a required prescription to take before the procedure. The front desk seemed confused and I was transferred to a manager. This manager, Enisa, flippantly told me that I would have to reschedule my appointment for the following week. I explained that this was not possible due to my work schedule and that this had been on the books for at least 5 weeks. After waiting all day for a return call, I received a text at 4:30 p.m. with no solution. She begrudgingly told me that nothing was ever sent to the laboratory. Unfortunately, I was given no option other than to reschedule for the end of the following week. No matter how many times I told her that it would be at least a month before I would be able to reschedule. The only options were to cancel everything all together or reschedule the following week. I couldn't believe no other options were available to me and that I could not get any resolution. When I asked to speak to the doctor or his assistant, she told me they already knew and were just fine with it. It is shocking that the patient's time means absolutely nothing to this office.

100% recommend. I will never ever go to another dentist. I truly feel lucky to have found this place! Thanks to this place, my years of anxiety regarding dental care have truly become a thing of the past. Dr Jamie has done an incredible job at making me feel comfortable while getting some not-so-comfortable dental work done. The whole team here does amazing at creating a positive, uplifting, and joyful experience for patients. Even though this location is not the closest to me, I have no problem going out of my way because of the extraordinary care I always receive. I can’t thank the staff here enough!

Dental express is awesome! They are accommodating to any schedule changes, can get you in fast, do the work quickly, and most importantly, they don’t judge you. They really want you to feel better and be comfortable, they truly want to help. The staff is also really nice. Thank you!!

AMAZING service! I am visiting from out of town with cavity pain. Not being able to be seen back at home for quite some time, I was truly worried the issues and pain would only escalate. Thankfully Dental Express took care of me! From the professionalism of the receptionist to the efficiency of the doctor, my entire experience was stress-free, and most importantly EFFECTIVE!! My only complaint is that I don’t live closer and can’t establish permanent care here. They took x-rays, identified the issue and fixed it all within about an hours time. One of the best dentist experiences I have had in many years. 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Services are okay and staff is friendly. One thing that lowers the rating is the decor of the place is odd (train themed) and more importantly really uncomfortable. The waiting area chairs are these ridiculously uncomfortable metal seats with sharp edges !! I think unfortunately it somehow speaks to how this place feels more about appearances than the patient experience that they could select such unforgiving furniture. 🙁 There also seems like there are a lot of staff changes ". It is hard to get a consistent dental hygienist which is a bit frustrating. Maybe that speaks to the fact that they don’t consider their employees any more than they consider their patients’ comfort:(

From the moment that I walked through the doors I felt genuinely welcomed. The front desk staff We’re warm, friendly and efficient Setting a great tone for the entire visit. The office itself was clean, comfortable and calming. Every member of the team I interacted with was kind professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The dentist Felix was especially attentive and made sure, I felt at ease throughout the appointment. It’s rare to find a place where you feel. this well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent dental care with a personal touch!

Dental Express has been my safe haven. After searching for possible dentists, and getting scammed at a different businesses, I FINALLY found the best dental office I’ve ever been with! Their staff is 100/10; caring, funny, kind, helpful, and informative. They go above and beyond to: explain everything for you, answer any questions, and provide incredible services. I use to get nervous going to the dentist, but I’ve finally found a place that is welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough!! And they have a lil train that rides around the office! How cool is that?? Perfect for all ages & all dental conditions. Thank you Dental Express and Dr. Ferguson!
