Durham Dental Group

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Durham Dental Group. My son recently had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. P. One of the teeth was impacted and growing horizontally, and it needed drilling, cutting, and stitching. Dr. P was amazing, highly skilled and thorough. I was so shocked that my son didn’t even need to take any pain relievers afterward. Assistant Yami was also wonderful and knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the entire procedure. The front desk gentleman was also incredibly kind. When my son threw up from a reaction to the triazolam, he gave me a box of tissues. It's much appreciated. The only small suggestion I'd make is to take the triazolam an hour before the appointment instead of 90 minutes, since the procedure took a bit longer due to the impacted tooth. But overall, everyone we encountered was so kind, comforting, and efficient. I highly recommend this office. They truly give great care from start to finish.

The doctors are wonderful but the staff is terrible. I have never dealt with rude techs or billing reps at a dentist. Update: I am updating my review and there has been some updates to the staff since my last encounter. I spoke with Dr. Ali and as always one of the most pleasant dentist and just human that you will ever meet. Give them a chance the doctors have great bedside manners, this brings on the comfort. I hope that both doctors have the best support staff now to aide them with their practice. I wish you all much success! Thank you!

I just had my first visit here. I was so impressed and pleased with the care I received. The office is modern and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed hearing the music! My hygenist Brittany was thorough, yet gentle. She was super friendly and you can tell she loves her job. Dr. P was terrific and explained everything in detail about my oral health. I look forward to all my future visits at Durham Dental!!!

I had been looking for a Dental Office that could help me have a tooth removed that has been causing me lots of pain, headaches, etc! My son -in-law works for Durham Dental Group and he got me an appointment with Dr. Ali. Dr. Ali took time out of his busy day to see me first thing in the morning. First, I was so surprised to find a Dentist or any type of medical professional Doctor that would give me an appointment and take care of my problem without making me come and have multiple appointments to just get a tooth extracted! Dr Ali was very friendly, kind and professional, as were both of his dental assistants. They were all very helpful and caring and made sure I was ok and comfortable the whole time I was there from start to finish! Dr. Ali and his staff were so amazing to and for me. I had all but given up on finding a dentist to help me. Dr. Ali showed me there is a dentist out there that cares for his patients above everything else. This was my second emergency visit to Durham Dental Group, and I’m so glad I came back. I first saw them a couple of years ago but ended up going to another dentist for scheduling reasons—a decision I’ve often regretted. This time, they were able to get me in the chair immediately, which I am very grateful for. ​I came in with a failed implant (done years ago by a different dentist) that had loosened. They removed the implant and performed a bone graft efficiently; I was out of there in less than two hours, which was amazing. My mouth feels so much better already, and I feel confident that this time, the work is going to be done right. I’ll be back in 3 months for the next step, but I really appreciate them squeezing me in last minute!

I absolutely recommend Durham Dental Group. My girlfriend had a dental emergency (her back molar cracked) during a visit here from out of town. We called the dentist I had been going to for 3+ years (another office close by), and they couldn't be bothered to see her for a week, nor did they provide any recommendation for who to see locally for this emergent situation. We called around and found Durham Dental Group. Dr. Parekh immediately took her. I was highly impressed with the level of care we received, from Caleb at the front desk to the dental assistants (Jayla and Yamilett). Dr. P. took great care in explaining to me her after procedure care, and even stayed *after closing* to ensure her procedure was done correctly. He did this for someone who wasn't even a regular patient! DDG absolutely has my business from here on out!

I am Dr. Ali’s patient at Durham Dental Group on HWY 54. I hadn’t seen him for maybe two years. Yes, I got lax on my cleanings. But it is good to have somewhere to go, where you know they will treat you and give you excellent advice and service, I am so grateful for the awesome cleaning that Courtney took her time to do, making sure my teeth was clean and for Dr. Ali, I have some other issues that needs addressing and he gave advice and instructions on how we will move forward to correct my issues. My rating is 100%
