Affordable Dental

I've been to 2 other dentists who all said the same thing, this place told me completely different information and wanted to do unnecessary work that costs a fortune. They said I needed a root canal, but the x-ray clearly showed that I did not need one. When I mentioned the last dentist said I only needed a filing, the "dentist" literally walked out of the room without saying anything. "Dr." Pham is a monster, he didn't try to answer my questions and when I told him I didn't have enough money for his "plan", which differed entirely from what other dentists have told me, he literally just walked out of the room without saying anything. This place is TERRIBLE. The staff is shady and unprofessional, and the building literally stinks inside. Complete waste of time, and a waste of my insurance. Would give zero stars if possible. Do NOT waste your time, or money on this low rate grift factory. And DEFINITELY don't trust a word they say, or bring your children here.

*They re-seated a crown that had fallen off, and it fell off AGAIN two weeks later!* The outside and inside of the building is run down and wasn’t very clean. I was on time, but I ended up having to wait for over an hour to be called back for my appointment. After I was called back and had my x-rays done, I had to wait for an additional 20 minutes until the dentist came back to see me. It was almost closing time by then, so they were all in a rush. She told me that my gums had grown up under my crown a little bit which is why it probably came off (the first time). She also told me that the crown might not stay if she tried to put it back on. She told me I’d probably have to get them to re-make the crown for me (which would cost almost $500 WITH INSURANCE.) What she did not tell me is that there is a way to fix the gums so that the crown will stay on. (I found that out two weeks later when the crown that she glued on fell off and I went to a DIFFERENT dentist, Solomon Dental Group. ..Dr. Solomon is amazing, by the way!!) I think that the dentist at Affordable Dental was in a hurry and didn’t want to take the time to fix my gums, and she might have also been hoping I’d have to get them to re-make my crown. I’m not sure what her reason was, but she did not do what she should’ve done to fix my tooth, and I am very unhappy about that. The ONLY Reef in that I gave this place to stars instead of one is that the office staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful (Even the dentist was very nice, even though she didn’t do her job correctly) and I think that deserves some recognition. My advice is to not waste your time or money here. Go see Dr. Solomon instead! Lol

Find another dentist they could care less about your time. My son needed 4 fillings, and since the insurance approval girl was on vacation he had to wait a month. It takes 2 hours nomatter what. The staff is rude, and argumentive about everything. RUN TO ANOTHER DENTIST. They never keep appointment times, the staff never shows up on time.

I went here about 8 years ago and it was horrific. My tooth was getting pulled out because it had a cavity in it, and they did not give me any anesthesia even though my parents asked for it. I was crying and screaming because the pain was intense and all the staff told me was to "be quiet." Of course I couldn’t be quiet because all I felt was pain. In addition, the fillings are weird, cheap, and they almost fell off. Ever since then, we never came back here.

Being in the past medical field working with this dentist office for the past three years there are very professional . on time never had a bad experience. I would definitely recommend anyone to them for dental care. The dentist are very professional caring and precise they care about their patients and well being. The Laboratory they use does a very fine job on the Dentistry on the Dentures or anything else that needs to be made. I would definitely give this location fivestars and proficiency

Beware!!!! The cops are on speed dial. Take your money and run as far away from these people as possible. My father had his teeth pulled the first week of March and they were more than happy to take his $3000. After two months and several requests to speak with the dentist who was always too busy to talk, two teeth fell out of his new dentures. When he walked in to drop them off for warranty work, they were happy to take them but later decided they needed $50 to work on them because he did not have an appointment. When he asked the receptionist to speak with the dentist and exactly how does someone make an appointment for teeth falling out she told us to hold on. They called the police and had my father banned from the place and every affordable denture place as well. On a side note the officer was a very nice gentleman and informed us that our experience was pretty common here and why he got his dentures in Montgomery.

Went for xrays to start process of dentures. They tripled price in 2 years with less teeth in my mouth. I asked about my wisdom teeth.They informed me I didn't have any. I will be getting my bottom wisdom teeth surgically extracted next year by UT Dental in Houston. On a side note UT told me dentures would not have fit properly with wisdom teeth. I would highly recommend UT. They did all my simple extractions for $38 per tooth. It takes longer but well worth it. They do a thorough exam and xrays for $88,and you only pay if they accept you into program. My surgical specialist is charging $22 for consultation. The staff at UT are the absolute best!! Unlike Affordable Dental who are extremely rude and unprofessional. Take your $ and run. Happily getting what I want for 1/3 of the cost.. Good luck all!!
