Dr. Jorgenson saved my smile! I had avoided dentistry for nearly a decade after a rather terrible experience elsewhere, and I'm so glad I took a chance on BFD. He and his team provide such stellar service in a kind, elucidative manner, and they're always a pleasure to work with. Sarah is my go-to dental technician for my routine cleanings, and it's no wonder they chose her to complement the practice. I really can't emphasize enough the appreciation I feel for this office and the way they've helped me stay on top of my dental health these last few years. It also doesn't hurt having found out during a recent visit that Dr. J has a soft spot for ATHF ... my man!

I am a 55-year-old who, despite an intense fear of dentists that often requires Xanax to manage, maintained regular dental visits throughout my life until the past five years. My dental phobia, which can lead to me passing out during appointments, has been a significant challenge. This fear, coupled with my extensive travels, has led me to experience a wide range of dental practices across the East and West Coasts. After thorough research among over 20 dentists covered by my insurance, I was drawn to Dr. Jorgenson's office because of its glowing reviews. Initially hesitant due to the long wait for an appointment, I finally visited the office and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in. The staff greeted me by name and made me feel welcomed and guided throughout my visit. The dental technician and Dr. Jorgenson himself were incredibly understanding and accommodating of my dental phobia. They went out of their way to introduce themselves, discuss my anxieties, and provide comforting options without any judgment. My experiences with the needle, which is my biggest fear, were handled with utmost patience and care, making me feel like the only patient in the office. Their empathy and understanding, including sharing personal phobias, helped ease my nerves significantly. Overall, my experiences at this dental office have been outstanding, leading me to recommend them highly. Despite the initial long wait for an appointment, the quality of care and the attention to patient comfort are unparalleled. I've now attended four appointments in as many weeks, including exams, cleanings, and fillings, and can confidently say these visits have been the best dental experiences I've ever had. Edit 3/15/24: I relocated a few years ago, making it about an hour and 40-minute drive to my appointments. Despite the distance, the exceptional service and care provided by this office and Dr. Jorgenson make the journey entirely worth it. This office remains a fantastic choice for anyone with dental anxieties.

Dr. Jorgensen is amazing! In my 5 years at the office, I've only had to see him for regular exams, until now. While I'm still unreasonably anxious for dental work, he was calming and reassuring through the whole process. The entire staff is professional and caring. It is quite a large office, so you may see many hygienists and dental assistants, but they've all been wonderful in my experience (and reception and billing, you guys rock too!)

I would definitely recommend this office! The staff and dentist are exceptional. Very welcoming, accommodating, and super friendly! Down to earth people who take the time to know you - true "bedside manner". Dr. Jorgensen is very gentle and skilled, and discusses all treatment and options thoroughly. So glad I found them, and you will be too!

My family of four started out going to Dr Todd 28 years ago and we are so so happy and pleased that Dr. Jorgenson continues on with the same tradition of amazing care, professionalism and skill. Dr. Jorgenson is such a thoughtful communicator and is focused what is best for his patients, and their health needs. His entire staff is equally as friendly and proficient and makes going to the dentist an easy and calming event. A couple of years ago, Dr Todd decided to retire and sell his practice to Michael Jorgenson. I had been really happy with my care under Dr Todd and was a bit concerned with the change that was happening. Since then, I've have several checkups and cleanings and a tooth extraction (in preparation for an implant). I have been thrilled to find the treatment quality of the has been as good or better than I've been used to. After the extraction procedure (which was done quite gently, I might add), Dr Jorgenson called that evening to check on me and whether I was experiencing any residual pain. I've never had a dentist go to that length to insure I had had a good experience. 5 Stars to the Family Dentistry team! I'll be staying put for my dental care!

I have finally found a dentist in Bellingham that I am completely satisfied with. After having some bad experiences with other operations I am very happy to have found Dr. Jorgenson and his staff. Everyone here is very friendly and thoughtful. There is always time to discuss the issues and options. Even during a routine cleaning visit Dr. Jorgenson is available to stop in and check in on his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a family dentist where the staff will get to know you. They even make a $25 donation to make-a-wish when you mention that you are a referral, so tell them that Jon sent you!
