I had the pleasure of receiving a facial from Kalila at Joanna Vargas on February 13th. She was amazing — truly nothing negative to say about her service, professionalism, or the quality of her work. She did a great job. However, I did not appreciate how the booking and billing were handled. On February 11th, I called to schedule a Purifying Facial for both myself and my girlfriend. The Purifying Facial is listed at $175 for 60 minutes. I specifically asked the representative on the phone whether the advertised $75 off first facial promotion (which is also promoted on Instagram) applied to the Purifying Facial. I was clearly told yes, so I proceeded to book two Purifying Facials for February 13th. When we arrived and were taken to our rooms, both estheticians mentioned that we had been "upgraded" to an **Oxygen Purifying Facial." It was presented in a way that sounded complimentary. At no point were we informed that there would be an additional charge. For reference, the Oxygen Purifying Facial is listed at $250. After the service, I expected the total to reflect: $175 + $175 = $350 Minus $150 (two $75 first-time discounts) Total before tip: $200 Instead, the bill was $440. When I asked for clarification, the front desk representative said they had "upgraded" us to the Oxygen Purifying Facial and applied the $75 discount to that service — and then stated that the first-time discount does not apply to the standard Purifying Facial. That directly contradicts what I was told when I called to book the appointment. I felt misled. If I had been told upfront that: 1. The promotion did not apply to the Purifying Facial, and 2. The Oxygen Facial carried a higher cost, I would have made an informed decision. Again, Kalila was excellent. My issue is strictly with how the pricing and communication were handled. It absolutely felt Ghetto, and I’m not with the Ghetto games! Transparency matters! I’m sharing this so others can ask detailed questions upfront and ensure they receive exactly what they book.

Robyn is truly exceptional. My facial at Joanna Vargas was hands down one of the best treatments I’ve ever had. I received the Triple Crown Microcurrent and the results were immediate, lifted, toned, and incredibly radiant skin. Her touch is both relaxing and precise, and she makes the whole experience feel luxurious and personalized. I walked out glowing and feeling so confident. Can’t wait to book again!

I had the best facial with Robyn. She gave me the Triple Crown Microcurrent treatment and my skin has never looked more lifted, sculpted, and glowing. Joanna Vargas is an amazing place for facials and treatments. I love their space it so peaceful and luxurious. I have been getting regular monthly facials with Tina for years. She makes my withered stressed face feel like I’m in my twenties. Convenient parking for a few dollars across the street and much easier to get to than their old space. I highly recommend them if you truly want to feel pampered.

I have been coming to Tina at Joanna Vargas for the last 3 years and it is one of the best spas I have ever been to. Tina’s been with me in the journey of maintaining the best skin I can and looking my absolute best at my wedding. I always get the Master Triple Crown or Master Supernova, and the Cell Story series has also done wonders for my hyperpigmentation this last few months. If you’re on the fence, just go for it!

I got the triple crown classic here, and WOW. Elisa analyzed my skin and left it glowing and glistening. She also has magic hands and gave me such a relaxing facial massage that i fell asleep for part of it. Great expertise, i loved the oxygen and electroccurrent machines, which gave my skin a lift and contour that was visible. Will definitely be back.
