The salon manager was great! I was on my way to work and wanted to fix my hair a little bit, and she gave me a comb and some hairspray to use, free of charge. I also love a couple of the makeup brands that I cannot find anywhere else.

BUYER BEWARE ONLY GO HERE if you want to be demoralized and treated AWFUL! Why is it when my fiance, (they day of the wedding), walked in and they said, "oh clearly you haven't been to our salon"..... Why is that how you make women feel? What's wrong with your training as a company to make women feel less than?! Please tell these amazing women who come to you why you make them feel like garbage!! Never has she ever been more regretful of choosing a place! She would rather take Macy's in Kansas City over how this place made her feel

Very unprofessional. I had a confirmed 6:00 PM appointment for New Year’s Eve( wave hair ) booked a week in advance. They called me only one hour before to say they made a mistake and close at 6:00. This left me with no time to find another salon on one of the busiest nights of the year. Extremely poor communication and zero respect for customers. Worst experience — never coming back.

😬 the older women the work here are snobby and give you judgmental looks. Super unwelcoming environment. Came in on Saturday May 3rd at 10am. The taller blonde/thicker woman was really nice and so was the alternative girl at the register. Honestly I’ve always loved Ulta for the friendly environment but this location needs to change some of their employees. It will be bad for their business in the long run if they don’t.

It has been a long time since I went into our Topeka store. I just wanted to browse. I wasn't in there but less than two min. Was approached by a worker ,who asked me if I found everything I was looking for ? I told her I just walked in, so I haven't had time to find anything. Why are they doing that ? I don't like it. You need to let people look around. I felt like she thought I was gonna steal something. I won't go back. Very uncomfortable !! I'll go to Kohl's I stead next time

The hair specialist there did wonders. He saw my hair and was like oh no we gonna take care of you today boo. Will return again and already set my next appointment.

Bella, the hair stylist, loved her. I adored her and she did great trying to get the box dye out of my hair in one session without damaging it. She was patient and understanding with my concerns, even going as far as to making sure she could book me in as soon as possible to get my hair ready for my Driver’s License update picture. However, Kenzie, the manager I spoke with, was incredibly rude. I asked her if there were other methods to reduce the orange and yellow tones in my hair without having to spend $100s of dollars on extra sessions if Bella struggled to get out the rest of the tones in our next session. She replied, "you choose to put box dye in your hair and yes, you’re going to have to go through several sessions and spend $100s of dollars on it." She was condescending and had a nasty attitude. I’ve overheard her speaking to one of her workers poorly as well, cussing them out in the past but I hadn’t known her name when I walked in before. Again. Bella was and IS amazing. I did not have any issues with her whatsoever. She’s an amazing stylist and most definitely a keeper.
