On November 24th I walked into Ultra Beauty with my daughter and was not greeted I had an eyebrow appointment scheduled for 11:40 a.m. I went over to the eye station and she was not there yet I got there a little way before my appointment time. I noticed another lady standing at the station as well. When eyebrows tech showed up the lady sat in the chair. I over heard her tell the lady that usually blocked out my scheduled, I'm thinking maybe she was over booked if the tech would of asked for the lady name then she would known that wasn't Nicole. The lady got her eyebrows waxed and tinted on my appointment time. My daughter was getting color matched as well I over heard the Sales Associated asked for assistance with color matched unsure what but the Sale Associated started the color matched herself. The eye tech was informed that wasn't Nicole at her station the kept saying we scheduled this appointment online together. The lady never had an appointment that would put her as a walk in. I walked over to the eye tech and informed her of my appointment she told me that her scheduled was booked for today I informed her I had an appointment at 11:40 am and we are way passed my appointment time. She apologized and she said she could take me after she was done but I "Refused " due to the fact that I was very disappointed in the customer service. I asked to speak to the Manager the Sales Manager and Salon Manager was informed she did ask me what they could do to make this right I should gotten my eyebrows done for "free" but we know that will not happened they are all about making "Money" so they were able to get me at 12:50 I didn't want to take anyone's appointment time. Sometimes in life you can give "second" chances. Just last month I spent around 500.00 dollars at this store. And today 168.00. I have an eyebrow appointment scheduled for December it will be a wait and see. Always follow company standards ask for the Customer's name to make sure this is the right customer that you are serving.
So, I just left Ulta after driving 1 hr 30 min to sniff around the fragrance section and check out some perfumes I’ve been eyeing. I decided to buy my top 3, but could not get the attention of any of the staff. I asked 1 girl and she told me she couldn’t open the cases but would get someone who could. Stopped and asked an older staff member. She wouldn’t even look me in the eye while telling me the same thing. I walked around the store looking for other workers and it’s like they had all disappeared. Y'all, I waited 20 minutes and left. They were so focused on the teenagers coming in, and completely blew me off. I get that there’s a 21 day sale going, but I walked in there with $$$$ to drop. It seems like I get ignored if I go in bare faced. If I’m beat to the gods and full glam, I get asked if I need help 4-5x. It’s crazy. I’ll just go to Sephora or Neiman Marcus. Ridiculous.
They sold me a used hair straightener, luckily I opened the box before I got home and went straight back to get a new one. The manager was nice about it but honestly this should have never happened. So just be aware that Ulta sells used items and try to pass it off as new.
I had a really good experience at Ulta today. I just want to give a shout-out to Natalya! She was extremely helpful and made sure all my needs were taken care of. I really appreciate her kindness and attention. She went above and beyond to help me. Ulta is lucky to have someone like her!
Went to the Ulta Salon on October 26 & left unhappy with my hair. The only reason we came here was for the "Master Stylist" because you would think they can work with anything and all hair types. Clearly not. I entered the salon with my hair straight and laid; then left there with the top of my hair all poofy. It's truly unacceptable to have left the salon the way I did, because I had to do more work afterwards and I should not have to do that; plus it was a joint appointment I had, so we left spending over $500 dollars that day; the hair service & makeup stuff. The stylist was friendly and all, but I did not care for the service I received, and will not be back for the Salon service or any service at all due to another bad experience back in November for another thing that was not the Salon service but in the brow department. It's too bad because this Ulta is close to us, but we rather drive the extra twenty minutes to another one where their customer service is more established than this one, and have better stylists that can do it all & have more products to offer. The Sephora nearby here has better quality in customer service as well, so we will be shopping there and using our points when it comes to makeup.
This shout out goes the Miss Siera, who works at the Sparks location on Los Altos. Job well done, Siera! From the moment I walked into the store I could hear you helping a mother put together a makeup packet for her daughter‘s dance. The time you took, the effort you put into your assistance, and the professionalism that was offered with your approximately 20 to 30 minute interaction with this mother was spot on! You assisted me at the counter and offer kindness, respect, and an engaging conversation for the few minutes that I interacted with you. Please know, your Mannerisms are what will help you stand out and excel every time. Thank you for ending my long day on a positive note.
This store and the managers are a joke. The manager decides as to what she wants to return and not return and makes up a 30 day return policy depending on how she feels. Such a joke. Argued a bit over something I bought online and they don't sell in store. She almost didn't want to return it because "I've never seen this before" comment. Not going back and using my point and will shop at Sephora now.
