This review is long overdue. I had my hair done by Britnee several months ago, and I remain extremely disappointed with both the service and the outcome. From the start, I clearly communicated that I wanted light highlights blended in a very natural, seamless way. During the appointment, I immediately noticed harsh yellow tones that looked nothing like what I had requested. When I voiced my concern, she dismissed it and said, "We aren’t even done yet, so just wait." Despite this, it was already clear that the result was not aligned with what I had asked for. As soon as I left the salon, I was deeply unhappy with my hair. The following day, I contacted the salon to report the issue and was told I could return so she could correct it. When I did, her "fix" consisted of brushing dye across my hair and stating that it would "even it out." This did not resolve the problem in any meaningful way and only added to the mess. I was seeking a professional correction, not further damage. I did not even leave the chair before scheduling an appointment at another reputable salon to repair the work. Based on my experience, Britnee may be more comfortable working with clients who have very light, fine hair, which appears consistent with the photos in many reviews. I have thick, long, brown hair and have had highlights done successfully by numerous stylists in the past without issue. Unfortunately, in this case, the work was poorly executed and far below professional expectations. What was most frustrating was that my concerns were consistently brushed off rather than acknowledged. I did not feel heard, respected, or taken seriously as a client. In addition, throughout the appointment, Britnee spoke continuously about her personal life, including her engagement and relationships. I had hoped this appointment would be a relaxing experience after completing a demanding university research project, but instead it felt overwhelming and unprofessional. Afterward, I contacted the salon and spoke with the manager, Jasmine, who assured me that a refund would be issued. Regrettably, I never received any follow-up. When I attempted to resolve the matter days later, the conversation became argumentative rather than solution-focused. I ultimately had to dispute the charge through my credit card company, which reviewed the situation and refunded the full amount. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend Britnee to clients with thick, dark hair who are seeking natural-looking highlights or a stylist who listens carefully to their requests.

If you want the best blowout you have to see Elite Stylist Brianna, she gave me the most amazing 90s blowout and the most voluminous hair that has lasted me days. She did exactly what I wanted and any kind of concern I had she fixed. You must book an appointment with her she is absolutely incredible and the sweetest. She also specializes color and blonding can’t wait for my next appointment to get golden highlights

Brianna is the best. She does both my color and my sew-in weft extensions and I love how my hair looks every single time. My highlights always comes out even and fresh, and the blonde extensions blend in so well that nobody can tell they aren’t my real hair. She’s super careful with placement and makes everything feel secure but not heavy. On top of that, she’s easy to talk to and never rushes the appointment. If you want great hair without the drama, go to her.

Quite disappointed with the service, I was looking for a specific item and when I had asked for help I noticed that the salesperson that helped me was going on break. I think she noticed me since she said "sorry, I’m going on break" when I looked at her as she passed me by on her way out. I was waiting in the back area where the cash registers were at and the manager was standing there with an employee, talking about her needing X amount to reach her "BFA". When she noticed me standing I let her know that "I had someone check an item but she told me she was going on break". I was so confused, the manager saw me waiting… she said "we don’t have it" knowing she made it up because she was with another employee the whole time 🙁 the store was extremely dead and had no customers. She offered to order but at that time, I was just appalled by the service I received I needed to leave.

After and before photos- Brianna did an AMAZING job on my hair! The first 3 are the after results, and boy do I wish I lived in the area I would come to her every time! Brianna was welcoming, kind and best of all a fellow Jersey girl!

I come to Ulta all the time but decided to leave a review because Chelsea made my experience amazing recently! She is so kind and knowledgeable, helped me with all my questions and finding the right products for me. 5 star service!
