This location happened to have all of the products I wanted in stock and is near my work, but I live near and go to the Tustin location often. These locations are like night and day! Everytime I go into the Tustin location the employees are super friendly and always give me samples and recommendations. In this Newport location I practically had to beg to pick up my $600 order. Sorry to bother you? I wanted to buy more because I saw some some more stuff when I walked in, but I will just wait until I can go to the Tustin location.

Hairstylist goes by Mimi (Mehtab Darbandi) didn’t wash the bowl and brush from other customer’s dye!!!! When I I asked Mimi to wash it, she briefly "rinsed" the bowl and brush. It was less that 1min that quick (it had the dye from the customer ahead of me still) and with an attitude stating "It wouldn’t make a difference for your color." It isn’t about interfering with my color dye! It’s about HYGIENE from another person’s scalp!!! This isn’t SAFE and HYGIENIC period!!! I plan to report her to her licensing board. She took me to the washing chair to "dye" my ends because "It’s too messy." She poured the dye on my hair and was done in a few minutes. Then, she gave me a small towel without tapping my hair. No brushing or blow dry either. She was also bothered that I Zelled her the money as she demanded cash. No wonder why she always had available appointments because no one books. I should have left once I saw that she attempted to use the same bowl and brush without washing after dying the hair of a senior client.

Cancelled my order, No explanation. Upon further review, I went to the website and found that the item increased from $125 to $145. STAY AWAY!!!!

No any update notifications at all for order processing. Email the customer service and talked to Toshiona Carroll the Customer Service Department to check the status of my order and she said my order was rejected because the store did not have an item which is why they never email me to let me know that my order was rejected. Very very disappointed for my first experience with this company. She was horrible as customer service and was helpless. I don’t recommend to purchase anything from this company. It wasted of time and money. You will never get what you pay!

If ya find yourself at the Planet Beauty on Bristol in Newport, be ready for sales people who act indifferent, entitled, and condescending. This has been my experience for several years. Once I contacted the regional sales mgr for that store and while she was polite and empathetic, nothing changes. Do not ask for a sample of a product you'd like to demo b/c they'll say they don't have anything. Really? And giving them your email address is futile. You won't get points, but you will get a buncha irrelevant marketing emails. Woohoo! Why do I shop there? Jane Iredale. Hard to find. They do have great twice a year 50% off sales.

Today I came in the store for an exchange of 2 products. I came across an extremely RUDE staff member. Her name is Cindy Serrano, to find out she is a manager. After I confronted her how rude she was toward me. She still attempts to challenge me. I told her she makes me felt very uncomfortable during the transaction. She was pouting, cold and unkind. Her demeanor was extremely unprofessional. She asked me if I needed her to smile to make me feel better. This individual is HOPELESS!!
