The Cosmetics Company Store

I live in Las Vegas, NV and recently called to placed an order. Eddie assisted me, and he was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help. I’m very grateful for his outstanding customer service. Thank you, Eddie!!!! 🙂 Happy customer here!!

I’ve always loved shopping at this store — the staff have usually been friendly and helpful, and they’ve always taken the time to explain promotions and help me put together my purchase to get the best deal. Unfortunately, my recent experience with an employee named GLORIA was very disappointing. She seemed uninterested, didn’t want to help, and refused to explain how to combine my items to qualify for the promotion and get the extra discount. It’s really unfortunate, because good customer service used to be one of the reasons I kept coming back. I hope management looks into this and makes sure customers get the same positive experience the store was known for before.

First of all- the store is never open and it’s saddening that when they are, the people that work obviously are terrible people that don’t want to be there. The employee that I had an experience with was apparently from Roseville branch and was working/training at the Livermore site. New employee- please don’t be anything like that. I picked up 4 Mac lipsticks so she can take them out from the front counter and one of them didn’t look like the one I had asked for so I opened just the package to see (not the actual lipstick- only the package), she said "don’t open that, you can’t open that" I said I am just checking the Shade and it doesn’t look like the shade I picked .. she said I will check and then put them there next to the ones o picked- checking just the names not opening that package still, I said can you just open and check the inside and she said "no we can’t do that, you can pay for it and then you can check" . I paid for it and she already took away the lipsticks that I pulled out initially .. on top of that said "it’s final sale". Honestly shame on you for not even having the courtesy just to check .. I didn’t need to do it but as an employee you could have done that simple task. The whole time she is yapping with the customers that know her from Roseville and not once she had a proper interaction with me who’s paying and trying to figure out something so simple. She was telling her employee earlier how someone said to her that they hate her guts- MAM - I understand why this person you were talking about hates your guts because you are not a nice person and maybe shouldn’t be working if you don’t know customer service. And also shame on the company if they think that you are even close to manager material, you are not even an employee material. I am reading all these reviews and it sounds like the same person that everyone has an issue with. I’m so upset at the whole experience and now regretting why I even bought S***.

I had a very upsetting experience at this store due to an employee named Sydney, who is apparently the manager. From the moment I walked in, she was clearly irritated—speaking to customers in a harsh, impatient tone. When my husband asked her the price of an item, she didn’t even try to help. Instead, she snapped, "There’s a station somewhere—go check there," without any effort to be polite or clear. At checkout, I was being helped by a kind gentleman when Sydney repeatedly interrupted, answered questions I wasn’t even asking her, and dismissed my requests to speak directly with him. When I asked her to please let me finish with him, she raised her voice and sarcastically said, "How about I don’t ring you out at all?"—even though I never asked her for help in the first place. I remained calm and respectful, but she continued yelling and eventually told me to leave the store. Her tone was aggressive, confrontational, and completely uncalled for—especially for someone in a management role. The other staff were professional, but Sydney’s behavior was so hostile it ruined my entire experience. No customer should be treated this way. I spent hours to find the items I wanted and she not only ruined my day but also refused to sell me the items.

I was in a few days ago and got help from Edgar. He was super friendly and answered all my questions thoughtfully. Excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back

Closed during busy opening hours. We came all the way from San Francisco only to be met with a sign that says ‘Out for Lunch’ at 5PM when the store supposedly closes at 6. There were several people waiting outside the store only for the employees to turn off the store lights and call it a day.

This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I asked the manager for help, and she became upset simply because I inquired about the prices of the products. I’m genuinely surprised that the city allows unprofessional businesses like this to continue operating.
