James and Vanessa are amazing! I visit this beauty supply location seeking hair for my moms 50th birthday and they were very kind and gave great assistance! The prices were reasonable and they had everything I was looking for! When I told him it was my mom’s birthday he kindly told her happy birthday and gave her 10% off our bill! I would for sure come back and recommend this beauty supply store!

This is a great place for all kinds of stuff, they sell wigs, makeup, jewelry and more! And even better it’s all at a great price! The guy behind the counter was great at recommending some hair oil I got too! I’d definitely recommend this place! (This is the wig I got also which is what I was going for!)

I have visited this store three times. The first and second were just OK. The employees didn't greet me as I first entered the store or ask if I needed assistance. When I did ask where a hair product was, I was pointed in the right direction. The third time (06-11-25) was terrible. No acknowledgement at the door, which I was expecting. But as I rounded an aisle close to the register, the only employee was ASLEEP in a chair! Male, wearing a gray hoodie, pulled over his head with a beard. I didn't disturb him because I knew what I wanted, but didn't find it. As I was walking through the store, I noticed it was totally disorganized and cluttered. Open boxes of products all over the place and blocking the already small aisles. The packs of hair hanging were crowded and practically falling off the walls. I looked around for 5-10 minutes and the employee never budged. STILL ASLEEP!!!😴😴 I left and have no intention of returning. It's a shame! I love having a black owned beauty supply store in Lee's Summit. Lord knows it's hard to find such a thing these days, but the low level of customer service, laziness and disheveled appearance of the store are unacceptable. SMH😒

I’ve wanted to check this place out for a while now and I just got a new haircut so I figured now would be a good time to get supplies to maintain my style. Surprisingly I have driven past this place several times not knowing it was here because it is located on the back of the shopping area. Parking is congested but I found a spot in front of the door. Upon entering I was not greeted but I did ask a question and was helped right away by the guy behind the counter. Hence the 4 stars. I found everything I needed and I will be back to shop! Great experience.

This awesome black owned store been going here since I was a little girl and I didn't know that it was the blankenship off of 31st and prospect and I'm sure y'all probably can remember that They had a beauty store front in the shopping centers of 31st and Linwood then they disappeared. Guess what they are now in Lee's Summit they have been there for 4 to 5 years I believe. So come support them and help grow their business. This is a powerful beautiful thing for us to support one another. Their prices are the lowest. The storefront is clean and neat and I got one-on-one customer service. Anybody that came in there got some help and left happy. Believe me they have clothes in there. They have wigs in there. They have everything and I'm going to tell you they are better than most of these hair beauty stores around. 💯
