SEPHORA at Kohl's

I normally love this Sephora and most of the time they are helpful. Today not so much. I proceeded to the counter with my items and the associate KK had the most unpleasant look on her face, did not greet me, did not even give me my total. Even slid my bag towards me when I was done. I kindly said, thank you have a nice day. This is the second time in 2 months with a very unpleasant associate.

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. As someone who usually maintains an optimistic outlook, I am thoroughly disgusted by my experience here and the behavior of its employees. Like many young women, I received gift cards to Sephora for Christmas, and on January 3rd at 6:40 PM, I went to use them. While I noticed the lack of effort from the employees to assist customers, I initially brushed it off due to the slow pace. During my transaction, the cashier rang up my items, and I paid using my gift cards. After completing the purchase, she informed me that I had a remaining balance of $55 on one of my gift cards. She returned that card to me but claimed she would dispose of the other one. However, when I attempted to use the card tonight to order an item that this location didn’t have in stock, I discovered that the cashier had actually given me the empty gift card instead. I sincerely hope this was not intentional, but I urge everyone to be cautious when shopping here. It’s unacceptable for employees to mishandle customer transactions in such a careless manner.

First time in Sephora at Kohls. I was hoping someone would assist me with finding products (I couldn't remember a lipstick brand I liked from there a few years ago) but instead someone who looked like a manager pointed me out to staff and had them follow me. Not one of the several employees greeted me or offered to help, even though it was very obvious I was waiting for their help. They just followed me until I left. Good customer service can also decrease theft, while actually helping the customer.

First time I've ever been in a Sephora honestly lol. My daughter wanted to get more of the perfume she likes with her Christmas money. Due to it being AFTER the holidays, and thanks to TikTok and the little girls who clearly aren't parented, the store was sort of wrecked and out of everything I'd planned on looking for. Honestly no big deal because my daughter purchased her perfume. Kayla, I THINK that was her name was absolutely so sweet and kind and helped us try to find what we needed!!! We'll definitely be back!

For example location — If you buy a product in Destin Fl Sephora and you are not satisfied wanting to return to our Sephora Kohls Dothan Al location — you cannot return it here! They will not except it even with a receipt this is not a "flagship"Sephora. Kohls Basically rents the name and buys merchandise from Sephora. People that work here are fantastic they are just as helpful as you could ask for. Just be mindful of out of town purchase - you cannot return here:(
