Blue Bay Asian Cafe

Got take out from Blue Bay for the second time. I tried the twice cooked pork and the combination lo mein on the lunch menu. I definitely enjoyed the noodle dish better. I also ordered the meat egg rolls, much better than the vegetable. I will probably return about once a week as it's pretty the only restaurant in the area that's not fast food. The lady who works the front is super nice and gets me my order as soon as it's done. Darn Good Chinese Food.

I enjoyed the wonton soup very much, the vegetables were delicious, and the flavor was strong. The teriyaki beef and onions were tasty. The fried rice, was very dry unfortunately, and the egg roll filling seemed to only have cabbage, and not much flavor. There was one server for the restaurant and she was very nice, and attentive to us. The chairs were very uncomfortable, and the tables were short and my knees were almost touching the top of them. The prices, however, are reasonable and affordable. I was stuck between a 4 and a 3, but also accounting the chairs, I had to go with a 3.

Disappointed. Looked through photos to see their fried rice and assumed I saw what I wanted. Fried rice with vegetables in it. Then I ordered 2 meals and received 1 togo container of what looks to me like bland, old rice tossed in some brown coloring. Why does it seem like it’s hard to find good takeout fried rice nowadays? Orange chicken and sesame chicken was tasty and an appropriate size. Could’ve done with a few more vegetables in the serving. The egg role was a complete letdown. One of those small, thin, rice paper rolls. What happened to the old egg rolls? The thick ones? No one does that anymore. I wasn’t surprised. Then I ordered a meat egg roll for a $1+ and literally had one bite of meat in the thin thing. The ribs were flavorful but incredibly fatty. I bet this place is good for some people but not what I was looking for. If I had no other choice, sure I’d still eat here. Just, it isn’t my favorite option after tonight’s attempt.

Thai milk tea is delicious. Lo Mein is delicious. The crab Rangoon is delicious. Orange chicken is delicious. All around the food is very delectable. As far as service goes, we were seated very quickly, got our drinks and food promptly. When dinner time rolls around they are pretty busy doing take out orders, but that’s understandable with only two people working on the front end. It was very clean and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going again or ordering take out.

This was our first visit to the Blue Bay Asian Cafe, and it won't be our last! Amazing customer service, even when they were very busy. And I understand why they're so busy, because their food is delicious. Ingredients were fresh and portions were generous! My Chinese Chow Fun with shrimp was delicious and had more shrimp than I've ever received at a restaurant. My husband loved his Honey Walnut Chicken, too.

The prices are decent and the service was good but the food is horrible. My egg drop soup had cabbage in it - I have never seen this before?! It was weird! The lettuce wrap vegetables were obviously microwaved, you could tell by lack of taste and texture. The chicken was chewy and didn't have much flavor. We have been here a few times and it just never hits the mark. It is unfortunate because it is so close to home.

Absolutely flawless every time I come in. I love bringing my kids here. And the take out is just as good. A+ every time. I most definitely recommend it.
