Yummy Hawaiian BBQ

The Loco Moco I ordered was excellent! I’ve also tried the BBQ mix and spam musubi, and I highly recommend the Loco Moco; it’s warm, fresh, and delicious. The portion is generous, and the price is better than many other Hawaiian restaurants I’ve visited. They also offer the sauce separately if you prefer, and the food itself isn’t salty at all ( I saw some previous reviews mentioned certain dishes were salty. They probably improved it in this way). Overall, a great experience!

We have tried other Hawaiian BBQ’s and were excited to try this location. We were expecting more flavor from our meal, especially the pineapple rice & teriyaki chicken and unfortunately we were disappointed. The teriyaki chicken was dry, the sauce aided the flavor but the dryness was there. The pineapple rice and rice that came with the teriyaki chicken had no discernible taste difference which was surprising. Egg rolls were very similar to Costco frozen egg rolls. Overall quantity of food was good.

I was craving a Hawaiian plate lunch when I stumbled on Yummy Hawaiian BBQ doing a Google search. Service was fast, and my "to go" order was accurate. The food was delicious. I ordered the mini Hawaiian BBQ chicken and my husband had the mini Hawaiian BBQ beef. The mini portions are generous and the perfect size for lunch. I will definitely be coming back.

If you are in the area, this is the spot to hit. Forgot the fact that there are not many Hawaiian BBQ restaurants near this area, the staff are absolutely a pleasure and joy to interact with. Food was fresh and made on the spot. It did not take long to make either. Definitely make a trip here and often.

It’s a love-hate relationship. On the plus side they are very responsive and generally consistent. They give a decent sized plate at $16. Unfortunately they’re using seed oils all over the food. Food tends to be pretty salty, but not the end of the world . for whatever reason they like being off on Tuesdays. Dining in is like eating at a hot house. This place is made for takeout. The good part is you get real meat fix. When you replace the vegetable layer with noodles, they really don’t give you the noodles they give you the rice instead of matter what you say. I think they must’ve had meetings about this.

Must try! The restaurant is small, so we took ours to a nearby park for a picnic. We ordered the BBQ musubi for an appetizer and it was large and delicious. I ordered the Chicken combo which was easily enough for two people, so delicious too! My daughter got the Loco Moco which was large as well. Definitely worth a visit!

I highly recommend the Chicken Curry Combo! The generous serving size is well worth the price. The dish is a flavor sensation: - Rich, aromatic and flavorful curry - Juicy, tender chicken - Creamy macaroni salad provides a delightful contrast - Fluffy white rice soaks up the savory curry sauce Dining in is a must, as the amazing aroma of spices is so delightful :p I've had this dish three times, and it's been consistently delicious. I highly recommend!
