Dough Nguyener's Vietnamese Bakery

Dough Nguyener’s catered a work event for my organization, and it went perfectly! Everyone loved the banh mi, Asian noodle salad, egg rolls, and, of course, the king cake! Staff was a pleasure to work with and very reliable. I highly recommend!

Regular bakery run by Vietnamese as opposed to a Vietnamese bakery. With food. No different if it said Starbucks on the front. Evident in the "Vietnamese" fare presented. My eyes tell me I’m eating a Banh Mi, my taste buds say cork board. Didn’t think it was possible to whitewash the Vietnamese out of a Banh Mi, but there you go.

There's parking behind the bakery or along the street. Service was very fast and the doughnuts were fresh. The seating area is a little cramped,but there's also seating on the outside

This place is a solid 10/10 and easily has the best king cake I’ve had in years better than Antoine’s. The cake is incredibly soft, never dry, and literally melts in your mouth. I brought some to my kids school and all the teachers and kids loved it so much that now I bring it to all Mardi Gras events. Every time, people ask where I got it from. If this place isn’t already blowing up, it definitely will. They have amazing desserts and lunches and truly deserve all the attention. I purchase this king cake every year. The staff is amazing as well, they very kind.

I simply love Dough-Nguyeners. The vietnames coffee is delicious and u live that there is an option for Ube cold foam to be added! Their Bao buns are my favorite to grab n go and their pastores are equally delicious.

Visited this bakery during a recent trip to New Orleans and it did not disappoint. I visited during breakfast hours but they have an all day menu for lunch and dinner too that includes plate dinners, sandwiches, and salads. I ordered donuts and a selection of pastries during my visit. The donuts were light, and airy and not overly dense like some bakeries sale so they were very good and did not last long. I also bought a few croissants and a cinnamon roll and they were good too. When I arrived, the bakery was already out of several flavors of donuts, which I would have liked to try. I am not sure if they would restock those or not but it would have been nice to get some of those but perhaps it is a testament to how good the place is. I enjoyed my food and would visit again.

Holy cow this place is amazing! The best tasting king cake I've ever had and the food is delicious!
