Yoyogi Sushi

One of my go-to sushi spots. It's great for quick takeout and the quality is consistently fine. Love their spicy california roll!

Almost all of the things we had were good, aside from the tuna. The tuna nigiri was of very low quality; they account for this by dyeing it red! Look at the provided picture of the uneaten (thank god) tuna. It stained the rice and stained my napkin too! The taste my son said was "like I bit the sides of my mouth and the blood gushed on my tongue!" Basically he said it was metallic tasting. Very disappointing we were looking forward to the tuna most of all! The rest we got was good the salmon rolls, eel with avocado, spider rolls, etc… over all a positive experience, it was just tainted with that tuna nigiri.

I ducked into Yoyogi Sushi with my daughter last night — turned out to be a nice little sushi adventure. The Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll was punchy and fresh, just the right amount of kick, and their salmon-avocado nigiri hit the spot — delicate fish and perfect rice-to-fish balance. We appreciated how affordable everything was and how generous the portions felt. Worth dropping by if you’re after solid, tasty sushi without overthinking it.

A good sushi place. Portions are quite large. I was surprised how big the rolls were and how much tofu we got in our appetizer. The udon soup was a bit lackluster. The soup was way to salty and the tempura breading was way to thick.

Yoyogi is the best sushi in the DMV. The spicy tuna crunch roll is perfectly balanced and my husband loves the sashimi deluxe combo. There are plenty of other sushi spots nearby, but we prefer to go the extra distance to Yoyogi.

Great sushi, great prices, but be aware you must order ONLINE ONLY and PICK UP. No area to eat, take out only! But worth the stop!

I love this place's sushi. It's really good, fresh and most of all very affordable. We come here twice a week and never get tired. Too bad is always busy and chaotic now at their new location. It seems to me they used to be faster at taking orders at the previous location. They need to step it up a little bit. Still, we won’t stop coming.
