Everything we tried at Silk Road Choyhona tasted amazing. The manti and plov were especially delicious—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. You can really tell the food is made with care and attention to detail. Big portions too! Come hungry!! The atmosphere was just as great as the food—warm, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
The food here was incredible. Super approachable if you’re unfamiliar, great recommendations from our server, and nice big pictures. Everything we ordered was really tasty. The ambience was perfect for a nice meal without feeling stuffy. Prices were affordable. I would recommend to anyone!
If you are craving authentic Central Asian comfort food, Silk Road Choyhona is the real deal. We came specifically for a few staples and they did not disappoint: Samsa: Perfectly flaky, golden crust with a juicy, well-seasoned meat filling. You can tell these are baked properly—they have that incredible traditional aroma. Kebab: We tried the lamb and beef, and both were tender and smoky. They clearly use high-quality cuts, and the char from the grill adds that perfect 'street-side' authenticity. Lagman: This was the star for me. The noodles had that distinct, bouncy pull that only comes from being hand-pulled. The broth was rich, savory, and loaded with fresh vegetables and tender meat. The atmosphere is warm and the service is attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place that feels like a home-cooked meal in the best way possible. Definitely coming back to try the Plov next!
What was ordered: Plov Special: included a salad, bread w/ butter, and a can of soda. The salad ingredients were fresh and a good appetizer for the main entree. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The rice was well cooked and surprisingly sweet but not too sweet. Overall, I'm satisfied for my first experience trying Uzbekistan cuisine.
10/10 food experience. Truly amazing from start to finish. My husband and I love to try new restaurants and for the past few years nothing has really excited us. Most places are average and leave us with a horrible stomach ache. This place was nothing short of amazing. We tried numerous dishes, each impressing us more than the last. The atmosphere is adorable and beautiful. The foods flavor and experience felt like I sat at a friend’s house with a home cooked meal. The meat was perfectly flavored, soft, and delicious. The rice hit the spot. The tea, amazing. Honestly can’t wait to go back and try more foods!
I’m really glad I discovered this restaurant. The food has a very nice comfort-food feel. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is attentive, and everything we tried made us want to come back. Do not miss the dolma, crispy eggplant salad, the khachipuri, plov and the baklava.
Had an amazing time with my family exploring new foods. Each plate in the photos was delicious and was perfectly made. The flavor in every plate was an amazing curation of the Uzbek food. As a foodie I am so grateful I tried this place. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something new and delicious. Highly recommend the eggplant salad, lamb kebab, and Plov.
