The team makes sure that visitors are comfortable and well-cared for during their stay by being amiable, considerate, and always willing to help. Everything is made with a focus on flavor and freshness, from expertly grilled meats and a variety of hot meals with Asian influences to fresh seafood like shrimp, crab legs, and sushi. The dessert area, which offers cakes, fruits, and ice creams that are the ideal way to cap off a substantial dinner, is just as lovely as the salad bar. The consistency and quality of the food at Lu Buffet & Grill is one of its best qualities. I will never come here again. Upon arrival I noticed the sign saying "pay first" which was fine but we did need a moment due to waiting on funds to be sent. I expressed that I would be able to pay for my dinner first & once my friend got her $ we would pay as soon as possible. The lady whom i assume was the manager nodded her head and everything was fine. We then got shown to our table where we only wanted water to drink & she was denied a water due to her not paying at the front. WATER SHOULD BE FREE. We were approached with an attitude from two of the servers who expressed that their manager told them she couldn’t get anything due to not paying, i assume that was spoken in their language. Food was okay, not worth $20. Service from the server was dismissive and not up to standards. I had to ask for a water refill multiple times instead of her being observant and being on top of it. She was very attentive to the table behind us but continued to ignore us. She also delivered fortune cookies to the table behind us with a perfect attitude and asking how everything was, but never brought us fortune cookies and always looked the other way when we made eye contact. I’ve heard great things about this place, but unfortunately first impression is everything & i was very dissatisfied with my visit.

Affordable food, we always go for lunch. We always love the food. Sometimes, the servers just get grumpy. Please try to be friendly and smile.

Visited on Wednesday 7/2/25. Food was hot and delicious. Price was very reasonable: less than $15 which included drink. Service was attentive. Everything was very clean.

I love this space here ! Clean! Food tastes good, I am very finicky about what I eat and this place rocks the box well enough! Please y’all stop reading bad reviews, these guys aren’t bad at all and it was affordable !!!! Me, wife and son paid just $50.19 — See attached pictures!

I brought my family to this restaurant 2x, and the first time was not bad, but the second time was not that great. First, the server was rude and did not acknowledge me right of way after my family and I were seated. She did upkeep the cleanliness of my table by removing my dishes as I was finished eating. Second, I had to ask her for my drinks instead of her reviewing my receipt on my table and preparing them while my family and I gathered our food from the buffet. Third, some of the food at the buffet was not appetizing. There was some form of meat that appeared to be roast beef or pork that was dry and had been sitting on the burner for a while. The pizza looked like sandwich cheese was melted onto the crust and overcooked because the cheese was slightly burnt. There was what appeared to be turkey or chicken legs, which were dry and had been sitting in the burner for a while. Not to mention, when I asked my server for a refill of my drink, she returned a fresh beverage in a new, clean cup, but the straw was dirty. I will never come here again. I also requested water, which tasted and smelled of toilet water. In the future, I think that Chinese restaurants should stick to the cultural cuisine that they are accustomed to.

first of all, this is my second time eating at this place because the first time was not as bad. 1. everything fried was SOFT, not crunchy. Eggrolls are not supposed to feel like I am biting into bread. Yes even the popcorn shrimp and fried calamari. The veggies were edible and had a good taste. 2. Ask if your table wants refills or napkins once in a while. 3. We were done eating and my husband went to wash our sons hands, I was still drinking my lemonade and eating my fortune cookie when the waitress comes over and points at the tip holder and says "no tip" I said we are not not done yet. She then said "you have no more money??" I say We aren’t leaving yet. Keep in mind, I am waiting for him to come back from the bathroom because he has the cash to leave a tip. I was a waitress and busser in a past life, I know what the business is like. We didn’t end up leaving her ANYTHING because that was just RUDE to question if we could leave a little $20 tip for her mediocre serving. 2/10 not coming back.
