Kim's Bakery

We got a large fruit cake for a birthday party, and it was a hit! The birthday girl isn't a fan of most store-bought frosting, so we wanted a whipped cream frosting. The cake was beautiful and delicious (not too sweet, but the kids still came back for seconds), and the service at the bakery was excellent. Even the packaging was great; the cake box had sturdy handles, and the cake was on a firm gold board that made transporting and serving a breeze. They even included a plastic cake knife and some birthday candles! We've enjoyed their other baked goods many times, and we'll certainly be back for future cake orders.

Kim oh Kim … transforming bakery into different level. You don’t feel sinful after eating their Korean pancakes nor feel guilty after eating their delicious cake. Your diet won’t be mad at you no matter how many pieces of heavenly baked goodies you eat!

I’m so happy my sister found this gem!!! Kim’s Bakery is a secret that I want to keep for myself and only share with special people. 🤫 It’s such a find. I believe in a balance that you can have your cake and eat it too especially here!!! Kim’s Bakery treats are not overly sweet, sugary or have that artificial taste. They’ve perfected the balance of delicious and flavorful. My sister surprised me with a small cake for my birthday that left me feeling so much joy, love and happiness!!! I literally crave their twist donut!! I’m going to say it’s the BEST donut I’ve ever had!! Yes I said it and it’s my opinion!! It’s cinnamon, light and that crunch on the donut is the game changer for me!!! I typically eat it too quickly to capture a picture but I’ll update with one soon. I was so excited to visit this place. Always interested with anything Korean foods. Love their bread. The place feels like homey.

I was running late for work and she helped me acquire some needed items for the evening. I loved them all and they were very fresh on a Sunday afternoon. Amazing 🤩! I will visit again for more delightful baked breads and snacks.

I love all their items but this review is specifically for their birthday cakes. They are super fresh and light. I love their sweetness level. Not too sweet that you feel guilty and not too plain that you call it tasteless. The fruit pieces that they put on top of it are also fresh. Another impressive feature of their cake is their packaging. The cakes are on a sturdy board and it comes in a beautifully designed box. It is easy to hold and you are not nervous that the cakes might be ruined every time you hit the brake. Thank you so much for your wonderful cakes!

This is my favorite Korean bakery in St Louis. I always come here for birthday cakes and bakeries. The store is always clean and neat. Staffs are friendly and helpful. My favorites are sweet potatoes cake, custard bread, cheese bread and sweet rice donut with red bean filling.
