I realized that I hadn’t reviewed my favorite food truck in Austin yet and need to fix that immediately! Beirut is the meal that heals me. It is incredible. So flavorful, so comforting, hearty but still light and bright flavors that it doesn’t weigh me down. My go-to standby forever is the shish tawook plate over greens with hummus and tabbouleh, but everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Crispy falafel, garlicky baba ganouj, tender kofta, great grape leaves when they have them - I was told that one of the owners was back in Lebanon to bring back the grape leaves they want to use! I loooove this place forever and am so grateful it’s 5 minutes from me.

I got the lamb kebab, fatoush, fries, & hummus. I can’t wait to try their falafel. They house make everything and they know what they’re doing. The spices are perfect. I expected the fries to be OK but they put sumac on them so they were unusually good. The portions were generous. The host was very gracious, the service was quite quick. Everything is made to order so this is not fast food. They have quite a few tables in the shade next to their truck. I was able to people watch from a prime location as it is near the theater. It is easily accessible to plenty of parking. The host checked in with me to be sure I liked my food. I heard him check in with every other customer when I was there as well. I heard him explaining aspects of the menu to different people. This place makes a really pleasant experience overall.

Beirut serves the best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. The marinated chicken is packed with flavor, and the red and green spices add just the right kick of heat and depth. Every bite is a perfect mix of juicy chicken, tangy pickles, creamy garlic sauce, bold spices, and crispy fries! I always ask for extra garlic sauce because it just makes everything better. It’s been my go-to comfort food for a while now! The staff at Beirut are also incredibly friendly and always happy to accommodate any special requests!

I recently visited Beirut, a fantastic food truck in Austin, while searching for a halal option near my hotel. I ordered the Mix Grill, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and served fresh. The portions were generous, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern flavors in Austin, this spot is a must-try!

Not bad, I ordered beef shawarma plate with baba ganouj and fattoush salad. The beef was over marinated or overcooked I couldn’t tell but it was on the dry side. Maybe I’ll try again another time as I did order to go this time. Good portion and very tasty!

Got the chicken shawarma wrap and the hummus. Food was quick to come out, hummus had a good flavor, but the chicken in the wrap was really dry. Had I not had hummus to add to the wrap, it wrap would not have been good.

Pretty decent falafel wrap, loved that it had mint - made it really fresh. The wrap was with thin/flat pita, crunchy falafel (not the best falafel but pretty good), pickle, mint and hummus. The wrap itself was pretty large, so totally economical for the price. Plenty of options for non-vegetarians. They are open until 8 PM, see attached picture for their temporary timings. They also had a smaller non-permanent menu that I noticed after we had ordered and eaten😅. Service was quick and polite. They have around 7-8 tables with chairs for seating. Definitely worth trying out their wraps/plates, I wouldn’t go out of my way but this makes for a nice quick meal when in this area in the Domain.
