I had a great experience at Kiin Di! The food was delicious and neatly prepared, with every dish presented in a clean and appetizing way. You can tell care goes into the cooking. The service was attentive and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The décor is simple and unpretentious — it almost feels like dining in a cozy canteen, which gives it a relaxed and comfortable vibe. If you’re looking for flavorful food without the fuss, I definitely recommend giving them a try!
The Flavors are great! Very fresh! The Khao Soi hit hard. Roti is burnt bits if you like it that way, wings yummy. I’d pass on the dumplings next time. The sauce was too sweet. Chang Beer Despite being on a busy street the the seemed to try to create an ambience Trying to use plants to hid busy windows and bathroom door Could use a little partition to break the room up a bit. Looking at the bathroom door isn’t ideal. Other than that I loved it. Staff was super helpful
Have always visited the food truck and was so excited to hear and see them transition into a shop front! The menu has expanded and trust me... its bigger and better ! We ordered the thai milk tea, scallop appetizer, the curry crab main and the Khao soi noodles. We also ordered the ginger rice which was a good call! If you think you have tried good thai food, you haven't been here! The food is really good and with the expanded menu, I will be back to try other items! This is my favorite asian restaurant in ATX. Everyone should come try it! Came a second time and tried different dishes - pad thai, hung lay and the fried chicken appetizer. It was good! We also noticed that around 630pm to 7pm is when the crowd starts coming in. So call to make an appointment or just drop in by 630pm!
We went to Kiin Di last night for dinner. It was our first time and it will not be our last. By far my favorite Thai restaraunt in town: the spice level was turned up, and I love it hot, the balance of spices and flavors was on point as were the crunchy/chewy elements. The Papaya Salad was incredible. The way the Papaya was shredded gave it a very pleasant texture. The scallop crudo was refreshing, filled with incredible umami flavors. The fried shrimp with calamari had a pleasant crunch and plenty of lemongrass, Thai peppers and garlic. We also enjoyed the Ramen Noodles with fried tofu. This dish had pleasant sweet notes but not overly sweet and not sticky as some restaraunts serve. Our server was attentive and pleasant to deal with. Can't wait to go back to try some other options off their menu.
The menu highlights bold, authentic Thai flavors with a refined touch. Every dish is beautifully presented and packed with depth, from the fragrant herbs to the perfectly balanced spice levels. You can tell a lot of care goes into sourcing quality ingredients and honoring traditional Thai cooking while still keeping things approachable. Portions are generous, making it easy to share and sample multiple dishes. Service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, with staff happy to offer recommendations and explain dishes.
Fast service, polite and friendly staff. Food can do with some more seasoning. Was not spicy enough I guess. Tasty though. Outdoor counter seating available. Weekdays can also have 15-20 mins wait times to be seated. Parking can be tricky. It does wrap around the restaurant but might need to wait for a spot sometimes. Neighboring convenience store parking is not available. They just opened a few months back so not much indoor decor but still a cozy place for dinner. Definitely worth a try. Prices are reasonable.
The food is amazing here! I recommend the soft shell crab curry, fried chicken wings (with chili lime seasoning), and the scallops!! One note for the kitchen: The papaya salad is way too sweet and could use more spice. But we understand ya’ll might be catering to western taste buds 😉
