The Open Book Thousand Oaks

Such a nice bookshop! My new favorite in Thousand Oaks! Please go by and check it out. They have an amazing collection of books, trinkets, antiques, vinyl and so much more! They also have a cute station if you want to write poetry or draw. A great space for everyone!

I've loved the Simi location for years, I was very excited to see this location in Thousand Oaks. This bookstore evokes that charm of how bookstores felt when IW as a child. There is an invitation to sit and stay a while in the shop. There was a free stamp making lesson taught by a wonderful employee (Amanda/Luke). We stayed a while, the staff was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely check out Open Book ❤️

Finally, a used Book Store in Thousand Oaks! The Open Book, located in The Oaks Mall, where Williams Sonoma used to be. Very interesting place. Something for pretty much everybody. Well curated and a pleasure to shop! Check it out.

Awesome book store in Thousand Oaks Mall. When I walked in I saw many books that are banned or being challenged on the table in front of store which caught my eyes. Banned was a favorite of mine: Their Eyes Were Watching God- a 1937 novel by Nora Neale Huston set in Florida. I had to look at each book on the table- 1984 and Farenheight 457 were there plus many more. I ended up buying a book about exercise and another on Glucose and another one about having fun in AA. There were more I wanted to get but someone with me wanted to leave… I will definitely be back!

This place is phenomenal! The layout is clever and inviting and you can see the passion reading and books in every nook and cranny! The prices are fair and it's somewhere my wife and I intend to bring our children to pick out books regularly. Also, I believe its used books primarily, but they are in great quality and I didn't even realize it until I looked at the price of a book which was much lower than I expected (under $10 for a youth chapter book).

Hidden gem! Affordable books and items for kids and adults. We could spend all day here if they sell drinks and coffee😉

Marcelle was so helpful in allowing us to tour Atria. It is beautiful facility, very well maintained. Marcelle has also been helpful in providing much useful information so that we can make the best choices for the future
