Barnes & Noble

I know this mall isn't as busy as it use to be but im glad to see Barnes and Noble still here. They have a pretty decent size Manga section and a world of books from various genres. There are two floors so there is something for everyone to find here. Please support bookstores places like this are slowly becoming a thing of the past and reading books are important these environments are essential just like libraries

This is a beautiful store with a wide selection of books, but unfortunately my experience with customer service was disappointing. A few associates seemed unwelcoming and responded to my questions with very short, one-word answers, which made the interaction uncomfortable. On Sunday, 1/18/2026 In the Stamford Mall Location, I asked a sales associate named Nina for her name, and she refused to provide it. It wasn’t until I asked for her manager that she reluctantly shared her name. Having worked in customer service myself for many years, it was always required that we wear name tags so customers could identify who they were speaking with. I left the store feeling drained and disappointed, as this interaction took away from what should have been an enjoyable visit.

I visit many Barnes and Noble stores in the CT/NY area but Stamford Town Center is by far the best one. Friendly helpful staff especially Frank who has gone out of his way to order things for me even if it’s from another store. Always a great experience there.

I love this place. I come and browse several sections of the store and Lindsey has been great in helping me find whatever I'm looking for. On one occasion, however, after she had helped me with something, what appeared to be her boss came over and started berating her. I felt uncomfortable for her. I hope this is not how employees are treated there. Other than that, I've never experienced anything negative about the store.

Barn's and Noble is the best place on earth - for nurse witches! Think this is a baseless conspiracy theory or a weird internet meme? Fair. But it's true - here's too many pictures all from this particular store! You might be wondering "why is B&N carrying so many books on neo-pagan magic and spell casting... and crystals?" And "why are they pairing them with nursing accounts written exclusively for other nurses?" These are the wrong questions. The real question is "why are our nurses turning to neo-pagan magic?" My theory: the only way they are going to get enough sleep is through magic! Haha, my actual guess is that there is a large atheist community in the medical field and they have an unresolved sense of spirituality they don't have time/interest to explore properly and this was the most interesting path with the least resistance. But I could be wrong - I would love to hear from some Wicca RNs or other theories (the more baseless, the better!) There's also a big anime section, but that's a different crazy theory. Other than the coffee line being one of the longest I've seen, this seems like a really good B&N and they have a bunch of my favorite "social experiment" sections.

I usually Visited the starbucks coffee store inside and the service has been always nice , very friendly and helpful staff ...also bought some books at the book store and always good customer service thats why I give them a 5 star

This place is very good if you want help selecting a book. The guy in the upper floor near the classics section is very helpful and suggested books that would interest me. Also when you buy books here you get coupons to the Starbucks in the building. The bathrooms very clean here. Overall, a very good place to buy books.
