Cal's Books

Hands down the best place in Redding. If you are a book lover from anywhere in the world this is the type of place that belongs on your list. While I do love that it still has that hidden gem quality, Cal's books deserves to have a line out the door!

One of the best used book stores we've ever been to. The amount of books is amazing. The owner is super nice and very knowledgeable.

This is a hidden gem that I’m so lucky to have found. Don’t be fooled by the self storage, you’re in the right location. This place has books literally to the ceiling, step stools and ladders to use, several different rooms and very big section of books.

This bookstore is the best! We go here at least once a week. The hidden gem of redding! The most stunning layout and art everywhere. We always see something new we missed before. I adore the owner he has the best personality plays the best music and let's us take our time and enjoy the atmosphere.

Incredible bookshop with an impressive collection of used books. Floor to ceiling bookshelves. Well organized. Don't let the outside deceive you as the signs are faded. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The cal books today is the same gem that I found over twenty years ago. You walk in and can feel the comfort of the book store around you. The staff is knowledgeable and if they have it in stock they can find it.

A TON of books, all in good condition and organized. Really cool store, more books than I’ve ever seen. Definitely recommend visiting.
