The Plot Twist

This has definitely become one of my favorite local shops! I love that they sell a variety of goodies from books, vinyl, D&D supplies, and more. The staff are SO kind and helpful. I feel so welcomed and safe every time we stop by. I also love that they host a variety of events. Highly recommend checking this shop out if you haven’t already!

Today was my first time……A hidden gem🥰🫶🏽staff is awesome place is a dream I left with so many goodies.

The Plot Twist is such a gem. Alex and Beth are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the store has a great book selection plus lots of cute extras. Their events are amazing too—the monthly Make & Mingle is such a fun, welcoming way to craft and connect, and Beth’s DnD class (which my husband and I are doing) has been fantastic. She’s so sweet and does a wonderful job. I always love spending time here.

Amazing bookstore! My daughter , wife and I frequent bookstores on our adventures all the time! This one was most definitely a highlight! Alex, Beth and Kelly are amazing and so helpful! The passion they have for books, records, community and just making a person feel warm is felt as soon as you walk in the door! We don’t usually frequent Midland but Plot Twist has just become our reason to frequent more often.

This is honestly my favorite bookstore in town. I love the owners. The events are top tier. From make and takes, bejeweled books, author signings, even a DnD class! It is a wonderful and cozy space for everyone. I can’t recommend this store enough!

Not only is this a lovely bookstore, but they have fantastic events like the Dice Don't Bite Dungeons and Dragons classes and the Make and Mingle events, where you can bring your own craft and hang out with cool people while listening to true crime podcasts and enjoy snacks. One of my favorite places in town!

My friend and I and came to Midland for a book themed event Oct. 12th, but we came a few days early to sightsee. We decided on bookstore hoping. We found Plot Twist on Google and were so happy we decided to check it out. The shop owner was so nice and inviting on our visit. She has a wonderful and large selection of books, Manga, music records, and bookish merch. It really was hard not to walk out with everything. She even had a suprise gumball machine that my friend and I spun 3 times each. It was filled with fun bookish pins, earrings, and keychains, and I even got a cute book worm themed pen. If you love books and are in the Midland Texas area I HIGHLY recommend stopping in at Plot Twist! You will be so happy you did!
