I love books! And this is as close to heaven as I will get in this lifetime. What I adore is the wide variety of books to choose from: The latest fiction, older fiction, cookbooks, children’s books, history, art, and even some law books. They have hand baskets and small shopping carts so they know their audience! My favorite section is the fiction classics. Tucked away in a little cubbyhole are sets of books by some of the greatest English language writers; if you are inclined to read this kind of literature. There is something for everyone and all you need is $20 to fill out your bookshelf. Listen carefully and you will hear my husband disavowing "building another bookcase." We already have a new bookcase on order for Christmas 🎅.

I shop here regularly and the staff is lovely. I've gotten fabulous art book and coffee table sized books and long our of print gems as well as signed editions.

Great store with lots of books that are very reasonably priced.

I went today to pick up a couple books for light reading and a few kids books. My 3 year old was well behaved but being a toddler she saw one of the $2 books that were on a low shelf and because it had snake on it and she picked it up and dropped it. Before I could say anything to her one of the volunteers came up and stared at us for a long time then let out a long, loud sigh and snapped about her being taught to properly hold books. She said it so rude that I was stunned, there are alot of ways to speak to someone and address a problem but no reason to be that angry over an accident. I went ahead and purchased it as well as the books in my basket because regardless of its poor condition she did drop it. But we will never go back there and I would suggest not taking your younger children.

Rude and unprofessional we got to the door at exactly 1pm and instead of letting us know that they were closed they just looked at us like we were stupid! I get it you’re closed! Say that! I actually was excited to visit this place but to Barnes and Nobles we go cause this was bold to say the least!

2 stars because they have loads of books. Otherwise i would have given 1 star. The employees need lessons on politeness. I went in at 1250pm and didn't realize they close at 1. I was looking (overwhelmed with the selection as it was my first time in) and I picked up a book. This employee was coming my way so i stwpped closer to the shelf thinking she was trying to get by. She looked at me and rudely said "its 1 oclock. We are now closed." and walked off. No smile, no nothing. Not sure I'll be back. Rather pay new prices than feel as unwelcome as I did today.

Seems like all the negative reviews are from people that didn't bother looking up the hours of this volunteer run book store and want them to stay open later just for them. I've been here a dozen times and never have had a problem, the employees are nice, the place is organized, plenty of parking across the street, whole room full of records, and a huge kids section. They don't take cards but they take checks and cash, know before you go.
