Fantastic comic shop! I didn’t spend too long in the store, but I had a great conversation with Ralph, the owner, very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The shop is beautifully organized, and the prices were excellent.

Fantastic comic book shop with a great selection of recent comics. They had a decent selection of 90's era books that I was collecting and I really like how they bundled some new comics together for a sequential series with a discount! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Wonderfully eclectic comic shop at Eastern & Hacienda with a sizable back issues section in addition to new monthlies and a mini art gallery of published original comic art pages from the owner's personal collection. This is a true Mom & Pop Shop and the owners are very personable. They host a regular vent schedule with in-person signings and there is plenty of parking. Alternate Reality Comics is in a mini-mall called Pioneer Square, which is kind of like the Geek Mecca of Las Vegas, with Stomping Grounds TCG Shop, House of Cars & Rogue Toys all right next door.

I walked into this comic shop because it sits in an amazing mall space with three other collectibles shops next door. I was treated with great customer service despite them being very busy. Paul kept interest in my questions and he gave me protective covers for my purchases without me asking. As someone who deals with the public I was super impressed. Thanks again Altenate Reality Comics,and Here's to 30 more years into the Time Traveler himself Art Bell. I met a gentleman named Pierce as he greeted me at the desk , I had a stack of 90s comic books (my collection). I wanted someone just to look at and give me more information- In fact I was given more information and even took the time to look through and give me honest options and knowledge. He even went through them again and pointed out the ones that were worth a little bit . I wanted to say thank you once again! This shop is worth going to... it gives you a piece of nostalgia walking in. Good stuff!!!!

Unique store with a plethora of back issues. Tons of dollar bins, but leave time to dig because they aren't sorted. Back issues are set up all over the shop by character. I found myself plucking unexpected treasures when a bronze age run caught my eye. Very fair prices and friendly staff makes this a must stop store with character!

I am 54 and have been reading comics since I was 12. Alternate Reality is by far my favorite comic book store ever. Ralph and his staff are always helpful and have created a great community. His store feels like home and they have helped me find comics that I wouldn’t have known I would like. The selection is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. Thanks for everything Ralph!
