CSN Charleston Bookstore

Do not purchase books here . Get them on eBay or anywhere else . 300$ worth of books and they are priced like $5-$30 on eBay .. the book store sold them at this price used too . They also told me that I could come back later and get 50% of my money back . When I came back they said I had a certain timeframe I needed to come back in for that promotion. At time of purchase this timeframe was not explained. Plan ahead, don’t be forced into buying used books at crazy prices

HORRIBLE!!! Order your textbooks elsewhere! Last semester, they posted the wrong book for one of my courses, and this year, I paid for expedited shipping because I waited until my syllabus was out to ensure I had the correct book. Despite this, almost a week later, I still haven't received it! I called their useless customer service number in another country, and I was told they are having IT issues! REALLY, when was I going to be notified????? What an absolute JOKE! I hate leaving negative reviews, but I do not want another student to trust this bookstore!

The CSN book store was very easy to find and the people working here are very helpful with finding what types of books you need for your classes. But outside the bookstore its confusing because they have ashtray laying everywhere but no smoking signs.

Please fire the lady that was working online pickup on 8/28 12pm. She has a nasty attitude & looks like she don’t want to help students out. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but if that’s how she acts everyday, she need Jesus in her life. 😂

Extremely rude both times I’ve been there. I was the only customer in the building and they were acting like they didn’t have time to answer a question about using veterans benefits and why my account isn’t showing up. I would go somewhere else if I could.

I recently had a fantastic experience at CSN Bookstore - Charleston, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the manager, Elizabeth, and cashier, Star. They handled my complex transaction for books and school supplies with remarkable patience and understanding. Their dedication to ensuring I got what I needed at the lowest possible price was truly impressive. Elizabeth, in particular, demonstrated an incredible depth of knowledge and made the entire process smooth and efficient. Having been a CSN student since 2004, I've interacted with various bookstore staff, but Elizabeth's expertise and customer service stand out as the best I've encountered. I genuinely appreciate their efforts and look forward to returning next semester. Thank you both for your outstanding support!

Called multiple times, nobody is truly helpful. Finally was able to speak to someone and he didn't even physically work at the bookstore. He was only able to "leave a message" for the bookstore, who never got back to me even after 2 messages. I needed books for a limited entry program, they don't have them there and my program starts in a couple weeks ??? I was told to order them online through their website which I did, but this was a mistake. ***BUY ELSEWHERE*** like amazon who has them for significantly cheaper. So I went back to the bookstore to return them but the employee just told me to email them to return them. Your website says to come in to make a return. Workers seem lazy and not helpful.
