Bookstore was gorgeous, atmosphere was devine and just beyond cozy. The staff are kind and so helpful. The Chai Tea was delicious!! Definitely recommend as a bookclub venue or just to check out everything they offer.

Lovely bookstore, with such a great warm atmosphere. They have some suggestive books and it seems the majority of novels are definitely catered towards a select audience but other than that, it’s a nice little shop.

An essential part of Greensboro's very healthy literary scene. Great for readings, used and new books, and a quick drink. I only wish they were open more, especially weekdays.

Scuppernong has been a yearly road trip stop for us! The welcoming atmosphere and fresh selection keep us coming back to see what's new. We appreciate that a variety of voices, perspectives, and identities are always reflected on the shelves. It's a huge bonus that they serve good coffee and espresso at the store as well; we've never left without getting a drink of some sort!

I absolutely adore being in downtown Greensboro, everything about the heart of the city makes my heart smile. What I love about it is the fact that every time I revisit I find a new aesthetic. I had never been in this book store and I regret not checking it out before. It’s neat, aged, and gives the feel every book store should have. The only thing I wish was better was the the employee presence, he seemed a bit disconnected the day I visited. If you wake up wanting a cozy coffee and craving a new book I would definitely check Scuppernong out. It’s a true gem, especially on a sunny day.

Love this local independent bookstore. They serve wine and beer, you can bring your dog, and they have a great selection of used books in the back. They host and promote local authors and the city of Greensboro. A real gem.

Beautiful store in the heart of downtown GSO right on south Elm. While the offering may not be the largest, you will almost certainly find something that will catch your interest.
