Customer Reviews

Not sure why there are so many good reviews. The older woman who was working there was horribly rude. In her defense maybe she was hard of hearing, but even after she physically saw me, she continued to stare into her phone and ignore me. She didn’t even acknowledge me until I guess she realized I wouldn’t leave. I nicely asked if she carried a certain item. It was low quality and overpriced. Not even braided well. I asked if anyone local made any or if there were more coming in soon - greater variety. I was nice about it and she still was horribly antagonistic toward me. Borderline combative. I’m sorry I took her away from her precious phone time, but there was no one else in the store to ask. It’s not my fault she doesn’t like people or enjoys driving away business. She dug her face in closer to what she was typing when I walked up to her, refusing to even interact/acknowledge me at first. I said hi… three times… wondered if she was hard of hearing… then realized no she’s just rude. Some people who hate working should work elsewhere for a better fit or retire - she’s old enough. It’s unfortunate because there might be good people who work there. I’ll never know because I refuse to be treated that way by terrible people. Don’t support bad people. They allow bad business to fester.
Forgot my regular email so I don’t mean for this to be on this one but whatever. I went in the 29th of October, and explained to the woman that my grandfather had died EARLIER THAT MORNING and I needed help setting up my altar for him. She was just so rude and acted annoyed and even disgusted that I’d put someone on my altar. You run a metaphysical shop, how are you gonna be rude about people asking for help with spiritual shit? Awful place.
A neat little shop of alternative therapies, ideas, and spiritual aids. Items to help get you through this world. I bought some Chakra Votive Candles. Because I like them. Books. Chimes. Buddha statuettes. Stars, rainbows, the colour purple, the colour out of space. A place of comfort to help make you a life of comfort.
Ripped me off big time on a crystal. I did learn a valuable lesson, which was not to trust this shop.
I used to come here more often but not anymore I won’t be. My girlfriend just got back from a visit there and said the tall older man behind the counter was extremely rude and would not help her with what she wanted. Instead he tried selling her other things while saying it was better than Bree’s ways after she told him that they suggested her to their business for books. Then he was being condescending telling her that she wasn’t experienced enough to buy that book she wanted without even knowing if it was for her or not. It would make sense to not treat your customers like that if you wanted their business. Now thanks to him, all of my business is going to brees way from now on 🙂 for a metaphysical shop, you would think people’s customer service would bring forth a positive and good spirited vibe, but no. Just a sour old man with bad vibes.
If I could give zero stars I would. As beautiful as some of the merchandise is. The owner and other workers, not only have terrible customer service but are out right rude and condescending without even being approached. They make it clear actually helping or interacting with customers is an inconvenience to them. I really wonder how they even make enough money to stay open. Energy is completely garbage. Won't be back.
I fell in love with this place a few years before I moved to Eugene. I came here every time I came to Oregon and love it more and more. Full of journals, Tarot cards, books, rocks, incense and holders, crystals and more!! The owner is quiet and polite, and willing to answer any of your questions. I think the prices are fair for the quality of the products sold there. Some may be pricey, but good quality. Also as discount section! Love!!
