Fantastic atmosphere and a great book selection. The business operates out if what looks like a craftsman home, so the whole place is filled with warm wooden tones. Whoever decorated kept with the bibe, because it's lovely. It feels like the little bookshop of my Shire-meets-Eugene dreams. There was a little sign that mentioned that prices are adjusted to include for tips, so it's lovely to know the employees are fairly compensated. Felt very queer/LGBTQIA2+ friendly. I will definitely be back to enjoy something on tap next time.

Great book selection, delicious tea, vegan/vegetarian food options and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere! The staff were incredibly friendly—when my friend’s bike tire was low, one of them even went out to their car to grab a pump and helped us fill it. Such a thoughtful and generous gesture!

We really enjoyed our time here! We tried a few of the cocktails which were all enjoyable, and the bartender even offered modifications to our liking. Tea and coffee options were also excellent and we ended up purchasing some of the loose leaf tea to take home. The izakaya was a good touch with tasty food! Book offerings were well curated and interesting, I found a few I hadn't heard of but am excited to read in the poetry and science sections. Everyone in there seemed to be having a good time, making it a warm and cozy atmosphere. The people working were the best part of the experience, they had great energy and were fun to chat with. We'll be coming back frequently I hope!

I love going to Hodgepodge and I take all of my friends here. Either for a catch up, or a date night with my girlfriend, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are nice. My favorite drink is the Parable of the Sour, and I get the spicy nuts. The queer selection is books is always changing and fruitful, and the events I’ve gone to have been entertaining and educational. Totally recommend this place to anyone and it’s officially my favorite place in Eugene.

So rarely does an establishment not only live up to your expectations, but surpass them. Hodgepodge is absolutely one of those places. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and clean, the staff is friendly and above all, the book selection is top notch! This is an automatic new favorite for me. Don't miss it!!!

this place is amazing! such a great selection of books and plenty of space to enjoy them as well! it’s so fun grabbing a drink and perusing or just stopping by for a drink! Sophie & Stuart are super friendly and very knowledgeable with their respective areas. highly recommend checking them out!!

Lovely people, lovely books, lovely beer, lovely food. It's a winner all the way around. Oh! And the porch, also lovely!
