I first had Saye do my braids for Burning Man over 20 years ago. I've been working with her ever since. She does amazing work. I used to do the braids just for Burning Man but it's since developed into something I do a 3-4 times a year, especially for big performances (I'm in a band). Whether you're getting braids for heading out to the desert, a performance or just cause you want a new look... Saye is total rockstar when it comes to hair.

For the past three years, I’ve been going to Saye to maintain my locs and I couldn’t trust anyone more with my hair. Since starting my loc journey nearing 10yrs ago, my hair is currently the healthiest it’s ever been because of Saye’s expertise and care. Without a doubt, she is the best hairstylist I’ve had, and I will truly miss her after I move. If you’re considering starting your loc journey (or need any other service), I highly recommend Saye!

I have been coming to Saye for a few years now, and she takes wonderful care of my locs. Saye is very experienced and focuses on the health of my hair. She uses great products, sometimes going out of her way to get products that she considers best for my hair. She is punctual and respectful of her clients’ time. She is professional, warm and friendly. Also, the salon space is very clean and located close to ample parking. My review is perhaps starting to read like a commercial, but seriously go check her out and you will not be disappointed. I stumbled on her and never looked elsewhere!

I rate Saye five out of five stars because her hair care never disappoints. You can go anywhere to get your hair done but if you go to Saye you will have the best experience. I have been to multiple hair dressers and no one does my hair better than Saye. I got my dread locks started with Saye four years ago now my hair is long and luscious. Saye treats every costumer like family and I would definitely recommend getting your hair done with her.

I have waist-length blonde hair and braiding it before going to Burning Man has been essential to keep it manageable and avoid damage from all the dust and dryness when out there for over a week. Saye has been braiding my hair for 3 years, and she does fantastic work. She's communicative and works with you to figure out the right style for your hair. I'm always thrilled with how great my hair looks after she's done and braids stay looking perfect all week! If you're going in the last few weeks of August, make sure to call in advance since she gets completely booked out!

I’ve been coming to Saye’s salon since 2021. What I love most about her and her services is her authenticity, professionalism, quality of service and overall reliability and consistency. Each time I come in for a service, she is kind and professional and truly knows what is best for every person’s hair and she delivers excellency. The last hair service I came in for were single medium knotless braids. Ever since, I’ve received so many compliments and people requesting where I got them done. I’m always happy to refer them to Saye with confidence. Outside of doing hair, Saye has a kind and honest heart posture with rich conversation. It’s never boring sitting in her chair and this is coming from spending over 5 hours in the seat. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease as she is very genuine.
