Sei Tomoko Salon

I already made another appointment with Mr. Sei! He did an incredible job as one can imagine the first time. I went only to cut my very damaged ends. My hair was also extremely uneven as I’d attempted to cut my own hair so Mr Sei had a lot to work with and the results were amazing. I’m attaching photos. Highly recommend! A little more costly than average but the amount of precision and attention to detail is worth more than any other hair salon in my opinion!!

This might be one the best haircuts I've ever gotten. My biggest worry about hair salons is that the stylist will judge me, or won't listen to me, but Yasuko was incredibly nice. My hair's been pretty unruly, and I had some damage at my ends because of some grown-out highlights-- Yasuko never made me feel ashamed for not taking better care of my hair, and because I mentioned that I wanted to grow my hair out, she suggested that we wouldn't need to cut as much off as I originally thought! I got layers that make my hair feel light and bouncy. I would recommend Sei Tomoko to anyone and everyone, and I'll definitely be back soon!

I've gone to both Sei Tomoko locations and always leave feeling very satisfied 🙂 Today I had a haircut (include wash + blow-dry) with Mutsumi, and she was incredibly patient, kind, and meticulous. We had a lovely conversation, and I really appreciate her attention to detail and her patience in getting my hair to look exactly like the reference photos I showed her. Arigatou Mutsumi!

I have paid for a microdermabrasion within 28 days I made an appointment for follow up which is $50. Even though, I made the appointment in advance they cancelled on the day of saying that the person is not available and will not be available for a few weeks. I travelled myself, and upon my return I went to get my touch up. I was told that it will cost me $100 now because it is more than 28 days past. I'm updating my review from 5 years ago. I still go there and now even bring my kids there! My favorite salon for the best stylish hair style! It's not only affordable ($85 for a senior stylist) but also amazing haircuts. Excellent hair products, massage, and the appointment starts on time! I've been going there for many years and I have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

Akiko gave me all that I asked for and more - light, feathery layers that help my wavy textured hair look great with little maintenance. She was very precise, thorough, and gentle. The price is fair for a fantastic cut and I definitely plan to return. Edit: after my hair grew out a bit, I realized the layers were a bit choppier than expected so I haven’t been back.

Mutsumi is the best. She just gets it… perfect, technical cut every time and she really listens and understands what you want. Take it from someone who always had a tough time explaining to stylists (even with photos!) the aesthetics of the cut I want. Even if sometimes my cut has elements that are atypical for a style (but are what I’m wanting at the time), she listens and understands and delivers. I always leave happy and with zero anxiety that I won’t get what I came in to get - which is a feeling I’ve had in 99% of other hair salons.
